I don't think there are any plans to add timesheets in yet: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/project-for-the-web/faq#does-project-for-the-web-include-a-way-to-record-timesheets
Nothing on the roadmap either: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=%5B%22Planner%22%5D
There might be a 3rd party solution you could hook into but if you're looking for something out of the box, it doesn't look like it will be any time soon (if at all).

The other option is a hybrid solution that leverages Project Online's timesheet and resourcing engine, and Planner premium's Power App for everything else. We're seeing this emerge as a potential option for clients that need more robust scheduling and timesheets, but like the flexibility and UI capabilities of the Planner Power App. And the licensing 'crosses over' to potentially cover both scenarios for the PMs. Team members would need Plan 1 licenses to support timesheet entry and submission, which in the end may be a more cost effective solution than a custom timesheet Power App (until more are readily available, and if (...) Microsoft decides to expose timephase actuals in Planner...

I'd be keen to see that robhprojility - sounds a bit clunky but it's probably my lack of understanding!
