How Do I Resolve Quick-Books Error PS036 When Downloading Pay-roll Updates?

I am encountering Quick-Books Error PS036 whenever I try to download pay-roll updates. This error prevents me from completing the update process, and I'm unsure how to resolve it. I've checked my pay-roll subscription status and tried restarting Quick-Books, but the issue persists. Could someone provide detailed steps to fix Error PS036 and successfully download pay-roll updates? Any advice or solutions would be highly appreciated!

    To resolve Q.B Error PS036 when downloading pay-roll updates, start by checking your internet connection to ensure it is stable and active, as a poor connection can disrupt the download process. Next, update Quick-Books by going to the Help menu and selecting "Update Quick-Books," and then install any available updates to ensure your software is current and compatible. Verify your pay-roll subscription by navigating to the Employees menu, selecting "My Pay-roll Service," and then "Manage Service Key" to check if your service key is correct and active. Restart Quick-Books to refresh the system, and consider running the application as an administrator by right-clicking the Quick-Books icon and selecting "Run as Administrator" to address any permission issues. Finally, clear temporary files that might be interfering with the update process to ensure a smooth update.
