Feb 28, 2017Hi OUSSAMA ZEBAR - check your admin settings to verify that you're using a hybrid or new experience (for details on these settings check out the following help article: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Manage-site-creation-in-SharePoint-Online-e72844a3-0171-47c9-befb-e98b23e2dcf9?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US) - though it's possible you're not seeing the new experience yet because we haven't fully deployed the release to everyone. Check your settings and if they are correct then stay tuned; we'll be expanding the release this week. Thanks!

Sean,
We can create Team and Communication Sites, but there is no option to create sub-sites in the "New Experience". Are we missing something?

Don't create subsites in "Modern" unless you have no choice. Hub Sites will be here "soon" and generally fit all scenarios better.

Hi mgable_presidio.
To create subsites, you should go first to the site where you want to create a subsite.
Then click Settings (i.e. cogwheel)->Site contents.
Now, inside Site contents, click New subsite.
Hope it helps...

Every Modern Team Site (i.e. connected with a Group) is a root site of a site collection.
If I understand well, you want to create a subsite that looks like a Modern Team Site.
This is not possible OOTB, but you can "mimic" to some degree the look of a Modern Team Site.
This has been discussed in several threads: please do a search.
