New Syntex Capability: Summarization

Hi All,

Does anyone know about a new Syntex 'Summarization' feature?

There is a somewhat cryptic reference here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoft-365/enterprise/microsoft-syntex

'...Understand and assemble content with AI powered summarization, translation, auto-assembly, and annotations integrated into Microsoft 365 and Teams....'

Does it mean we can now drop a document into a workflow and Syntex will summarize the text? Or have I misunderstood what 'summarization' means in this case?

Thanks.

  • Wayne_Addison - this capability was demonstrated during Ignite but is not available yet (coming soon). Essentially a user will be able to select a document and to the right they will see multiple summaries of the contents. Clicking on a summary will take them to that location in the document (like a cross reference). I know there are recordings of the capability on one or more recorded sessions from Ignite and also believe it was shown in Microsoft Mechanics, but I don't have a link handy.
