Edition Upgrade on AWS EC2

Hi all,

I want to upgrade from Web to Standard on an EC2 instance. The instance was originally created with the MSSQL Amazon Machine Image for SQLServer 2016. Everything appears to allow me to upgrade the edition: when I use `setup.exe` I am able to select "Edition Upgrade" in the maintenance section.

I don't have a standard license yet, so my question is: has anyone done an edition upgrade on AWS? Do you have any reason to think it won't work?
