Mgmt.AppCatalog.LOBApp.Upload.BadRequest.UnknownTeamsAppManifestExceptionType error has occured
I cannot upload custom app into organization because Mgmt.AppCatalog.LOBApp.Upload.BadRequest.UnknownTeamsAppManifestExceptionType error has occured.
What I tried:
- I tried to upload same app to other tenant but got same error.
- I tried to upload other app but got same error.
What happened?
karamem0 - This issue has fixed now. Could you please check once.

I suggest you to check the manifest file. First of all, upload it with the custom upload option on the teams. There it directly indicates which line the error is on.
I was able to debug the same error in this way. He stated that I exceeded the 30 character limit in the name field in the manifest file. I was able to upload successfully when the number of characters was below 30.(app name:Company Communicator)- Martijn_VerbeekCopper Contributor
It worked! We had the same problem as described above. I have created a profile in Teams admin. Set policies. We called this 'developer'. Then it works.

For the guys guys still facing on below issue Please check your manifest file , it is likely with number of words , for some weird reasons it does not take much characters for all attributes .I had teams custom app built in Vscode all i had to do is remove some entries in "valid domains" section , i guess we need some better error description

The issue originally raised here, e.g., inability to install custom app, disappeared yesterday when the fix was announced. Today it's again relevant.
Moreover, desktop and iOS clients stopped to show any installed applications. The only client which still shows installed applications is Teams web.
In Teams web, there's no possibility to uninstall any app from installed for user. There's an error in browser devtools on deletion attempt:<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC ‘-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN’ ‘http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd’><html xmlns=‘http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml’><head><meta content=‘text/html; charset=utf-8’ http-equiv=‘content-type’/><style type=‘text/css’>body {{font-family:Arial; margin-left:40px; }}img {{ border:0 none; }}#content {{ margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto }}#message h2 {{ font-size: 20px; font-weight: normal; color: #000000; margin: 34px 0px 0px 0px }}#message p {{ font-size: 13px; color: #000000; margin: 7px 0px 0px0px}}#errorref {{ font-size: 11px; color: #737373; margin-top: 41px }}</style><title>{0}</title></head><body><div id=‘content’><div id=‘message’><h2>Our services aren’t available right now</h2><p>We’re working to restore all services as soon as possible. Do you have to reset any services or something to bring it back to normal? I am still seeing the publish option loading loading and loading but nothing happens. Please advise
