What is Microsoft To Do suggesting I do, concerning reminders on my Android phone?
Recently I started getting this popup every time I open Microsoft To Do on my Samsung phone:
Don't miss a reminder
Your Android device settings may impact your To Do reminders. Select Manage to optimize your settings to make sure you never miss a reminder.
Then I press the Manage link as suggested. It takes me to a settings in Android to change something. But I've no idea what Microsoft To Do is suggesting I change. I need help with this, please.
Android devices turn off reminders, when the app is not being used,(That means you have closed the app from recent apps in your app list or you have cleared the ram to save memory or you just have restarted the device) to save device's battery. That is called battery optimization of android devices and it is not that helpful because it may causes to miss important notifications. You can protect apps from this nasty thing. To do that you have to turn off battery optization for that specific app. Go the below link and there you'll find instructions for each device model.
