Search completed tasks by date
Is their a way to search completed tasks by date of completion so I can retrospectively see what I finished on a particular day?

Not really what you are looking for - but close?...
You can see your complete tasks - BY DATE - when you
1. Click on "COMPLETED" from the "ALL ACTIVE/Completed" dropdown (located in the upper right corner - where you see the DROP DOWN options: "ALL ACTIVE/Completed" and "Filter", and the VIEW OPTIONS: "List", "Board", Charts", and "Schedule").
2. Click "LIST" from the view options (see #1 for location).
This will provide you with a list (which can be sorted by each) of the following:
"Tasks Title"
"Completed by"
"Priority"
"Completed" - the date you COMPLETED the TASK.
Hope this helps!

Would love to see if there are any answers to this. I inadvertently marked a task as complete, and it's gone. Can not find it. I have no idea what I should be doing/should have done for said task 😞

Go to "Tasks" menu on the left middle strip in "Microsoft To DO" and click it. You will see list of uncompleted tasks, then go down a bit and you will see list of completed tasks. If you uncheck the circle on left on a particular task, it will move to Active Incomplete task menu. Hope it helps the community.

I came to realize the completed list was already sorted by completed date. Not too obvious. So possibly by looking at this list by date could give your activities by any given day. I don’t see it can be searched, but at least listed and browsed.
- mdevittBrass ContributorI’ve been asking for this for years. I mean, how would you not have a sort by completion date option for a list called completed tasks. In addition, why not have sort by list option in the starred and my day lists. It’s the small things like this that just lets this app down.
