Visual Studio Enterprise Edition license

Hi 

 

I'm M365 Business Premium license assigned user, I'd like to install Visual Studio Enterprise Edition on my laptop. 

 

What license does it require?

 

Please help. Thanks!

    M365 is a productivity tool and i believe it's licensing is different and separate from that of visual studio which is a development platform (IDE).
    You can use visual studio without a license however as with all things there are additional benefit and functionalities with the licensed versions. Visual studio licenses are usually attached to an email address, all you need to do is go to https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/ and download your desired versions. There are the Community edition, Enterprise or Professional versions depending on your license and OS. There may be other versions as the IDE.
    I don't know about you or anyone else but I can't keep up with the changes to Microsoft product licensing regimes 🙂 Good luck!
