Users Receiving Emails Asking to Login to Viva Engage
We have had Viva Engage enabled for the masses for a while now with little use. It was never formally rolled out, although we are finally getting there. A few users have discovered it and started making posts. It appears when users view the posts, they then receive an email requesting them to login to Viva Engage (example follows).
There's no mention of what this email is anywhere that we have found (documentation, blogs, etc.). I'm certain it is caused by the platform never being configured properly before it was used. Has anyone seen this or know why this is happening? Thanks!

Issue:
Several current users of Viva Engage (Yammer) have received notifications prompting them to sign in and reset their passwords. Concerned about the legitimacy of these emails, users are worried that they might be phishing attempts and are reluctant to risk losing any data.Root Cause:
We had an issue with our accounts that caused password reset emails to be sent out erroneously. It has been fixed now and the users will no longer email notification to sign in and reset the password for Viva Engage.Fix Available worldwide:
This issue has been fixed and the resolution is available worldwide starting December 8th 2023 (PST)
