Possible to Install and Run Windows 11 on this PC?

Very old laptop I got here and I'm confusing if It can run W10 or do I stick with 7. That's not for my personal use, it's for my aunt. W11 has all security updates and moderns things she might want. I'm willing to upgrade RAM (DDR3, but still) and a SSD.

The laptop is too old to get Windows 11 on it and I say that with complete 100% conviction. Laptops manufactured in 2014 do not have the physical technological hardware required for Windows 11 to be installed on it. The most notable missing technology is the TPM 2.0 chip. The secondary thing that would be of concern would be the ram memory Windows 11 will require a minimum of 16 GB of probably at least DDR4 ram which this laptop cannot handle. Yes there are 1 million ways to work around the requirement but with this laptop being from 2014, it would be sheer insanity and calamity to try any of those methods to force it onto the laptop. Laptops are cheap enough these days to get one with Windows 11 on it save yourself the aggravation and decide this one should be retired and don’t waste the effort and don’t get yourself aggravated.

I myself have no problem with old equipment as I still have my original laptop, which I purchased in 2011 and is running windows 10 pro. I will not even waste my time trying to force windows 11 on it. You have to know when to say stop. my 2011 laptop which is an HPDV7 entertainment laptop does not have that TPM 2.0 chip. I have, however, upgraded that laptop on all of the possible upgraded hardware over the years.

my laptop started out with a single 640 GB mechanical Drive and it had a second bay for a second drive it started out with a GB ram and overtime. I upgraded the ram memory from eight GB to 16 GB. I added a second one TB mechanical drive and when the original 640 GB mechanical Drive started getting slow. I replaced that with a 1TB. SSD drive.  my laptop started out with Windows 7 and as stated it is running windows 10 pro and I will not go any further with it.

    Good luck.
