Teams Warning - Device doesn't support WVD optimization

Question

Hi,&nbsp;I am using Teams for meetings and I see red warning sign with below message:&nbsp;Your device doesn't support WVD optimization. Audio and video quality may be reduced. Talk to your IT admin.&nbsp;I found below link and followed the steps however I still see the same message:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/teams-on-avd&nbsp;Is there any way to fix this?&nbsp;Thanks!

snevas&nbsp;Teams A/V optimization only works for Windows 10 using the Remote Desktop application download (not from store).&nbsp; On the Mac, they just released a preview of it.&nbsp; You need to download the latest Remote Desktop app from the App Store, go to preferences and check to enable Teams Optimization Preview.&nbsp;All other devices are not optimized.&nbsp; I suggest to my users that they use a headset to reduce echo when using non-optimized A/V apps.

Hi,My issues is within Windows 365 Teams app and not mac. I am connecting to Windows 365 using Remote Desktop and then using Teams meeting in this session.Thanks!

Is your Remote Desktop app on PC? Is it downloaded from the following link instead of the Microsoft Store? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/clients/windowsdesktop-whatsnew

Another thing I noticed just now is that the message stays for about 15-20 mins upon start of any meeting then it seems to go away by itself.
