The Microsoft Research team supports several projects to support inclusion of languages across research. As an example, the Microsoft Africa Research Institute (MARI) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/group/microsoft-africa-research-institute-mari/overview/ addresses how to democratize AI at scale in Africa.
