Thank you for participating in today's AMA! In addition to the questions posted on this page, we also answer questions posted elsewhere on Tech Community and in reply to the event on LinkedIn and X (Twitter). Below are the questions our panelists answered along with associated timestamps:
Question -- What do we think about MAM for future platforms like edge browser on MacOS? – answered at 3:01.
Question – What is MAM for Windows? We want to allow syncing of Edge settings on corporate Windows devices but block it on personal Windows devices. Is this possible with Windows for MAM? – answered at 5:45.
Question from Tech Community -- Android related. Is it possible to have automatic perapp MS tunnel initiated with only MAM devices? Last time I've checked that wasn't possible. Same question for Windows MAM – answered at 7:31.
Question from X -- How do we make it so users can only access docs and files via MAM for Windows and Intune? – answered at 9:07 – Go to Secure your corporate data using Microsoft Edge for Business | Microsoft Learn to get started.
Question from X -- Regarding conditional access, how do you monitor for non-compliant devices? – answered at 12:05.
Question from Tech Community -- From a scenario where we would like to block access from BYOD non Intune enrolled devices, Windows, macOS and Linux devices. Do you have any resources where we can read up on what is required to get us starting for this route by using MAM for / on Windows. Can we do a selective wipe like on mobile devices? Any timeline for mac and Linux. - answered at 14:41.
Question from Tech Community -- Also Can we have multiple MAM policies from different orgs for any of the Microsoft apps on iOS or Android? – answered at 17:55. Here are the resources the panelists shared while answering this question:- Go to aka.ms/M365roadmap and see multi-identify MAM
- Please visit aka.ms/IntuneFeedback to share feedback with us!
Question from Tech Community -- When will we be able to use MAM to manage apps other than Edge on Windows? What app is first on the list? – answered at 21:09.

Would love to see support for Teams :)

We have installed the February hotpatch KB5052105, but Tenable now mentions vulnerabilities, stating that KB5051987 (LCU) is missing. However, we haven’t received that update from Microsoft because, I suppose, we already have KB5052105. Is this a known problem?

Microsoft teams has been a huge pain to deploy through MS intune with the bootstrapper. More often than not, apps in the Microsoft store within Intune don't work because the latest version is not uploaded. This is the case with MS Teams. Is there any plan to update these applications and allow easier patch management of these apps and O365 apps with the normal intune licenese?

AB_Tech We have a few options to install Teams, including using the downloadable MSI and using M365 Apps. Check out Deploy Microsoft Teams with Microsoft 365 Apps - Microsoft 365 Apps | Microsoft Learn for more info.
In any event, the normal Intune license does not license you for Teams. An M365 license might, though. How are you installing Teams? As part of M365 Apps or as a standalone? If part of M365 Apps, how are you installing that package? Via Intune or via M365 admin center?

Is there any ideas in the pipeline that allow us to have a slow roll out of an app? its quite a shame that I have to only have it available at a certain time and then a deadline for app scopes to the devices and not a slow roll out where it can do small groups at a time automatically similar to Autopatch.

Hi AB_Tech
That's a great question! At this moment in time this isn't available, though we'd love to hear your suggestion in our feedback hub: aka.ms/IntuneFeedback where other customers can chime in and vote/comment. Though leveraging multiple groups/dynamic groups along with the assignment availability set to different timings may help to stagger the rollout of an app.
Let us know if this helps!

When Zhanna is talking I am hearing what sounds like feedback. It is fine with everyone else.
