Are the permissions in SP Embedded identical to the ones in SPO? Looking at, for example, disallowing downloads. Can it be done? Leading to this question: can SP Embedded be used to manage highly sensitive content, so it comes with built-in document preview/streaming.

There are some differences- this article talks in detail about the permissions model in SPE. For highly sensitive content, SPE supports sensitivity labels from Purview, so you can apply that higher level of encryption and control.- Thanks. DId you mean to provide a link?
