Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsChanging Notification Settings for all users on a Team
Is there a way to change the notification settings for everyone that is part of a Team Channel? In other words... we have a channel in our Teams chat that we want everyone to receive notifications for whenever there is a reply in that channel. I don't mind using PowerShell or whatever I need to use in order to achieve this. We just want everyone on the team to receive notifications for all replies in a channel. Background: We attempted to migrate a client group to Teams in order to enable functionality with our Office 365 setup. We have an app for them to use, and we have a Site that we share files on, etc. This group of people are newer to technology, so having everything be user-friendly is a must. The problem came up that nobody was receiving notifications for replies in the Team channels. They are only used to SMS text messaging and group texting, so they want to use the channels similarly to group texts. The group ended up switching back to texting because its easier for them to use. We need them to switch to Teams, so we want to fix this issue for them and make things as easy as possible.Solved201KViews7likes35CommentsGSA - Web content filtering - Custom blocked page
Hello everyone, I have a quick question. I just tested the 'Web Content Filtering' of Global Secure Access. However, in Microsoft's documentation, two processes are mentioned for displaying blocked sites (related to HTTP and HTTPS). I wanted to know if it is possible to create a custom page (for example, adding the company logo, indicating the reason for blocking such as the associated web category, etc.). I tried to search, but no documentation related to this is available (or at least I couldn't find it). Thanks in advance for the help!522Views2likes1CommentWindows - A JavaScript error occurred in the main process
Hello Everyone, While installing Microsoft Teams, the error message described in the subject line is thrown. Am running Microsoft Windows Version - 1909 A couple of troubleshooting tips found on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/troubleshoot-installation have been tried but the error still shows up. Any idea on how to resolve this issue will be greatly appreciated. UPDATES I did a comparison of 2 SquirrelSetup.log files. (Both PC runs Windows 1909 and the same build number. The PC 1(Throwing up the JavaScript error above)logged some issues not found in the PC 2 as shown below: ----start---- ApplyReleasesImpl: Couldn't run Squirrel hook, continuing: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams\current\Teams.exe: System.OperationCanceledException: The operation was canceled. at System.Threading.CancellationToken.ThrowOperationCanceledException() at Squirrel.Utility.<>c__DisplayClass11_0.<InvokeProcessAsync>b__0() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.InnerInvoke() at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.Execute() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.Utility.<InvokeProcessAsync>d__11.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotificat ion(Task task) at Squirrel.UpdateManager.ApplyReleasesImpl.<>c__DisplayClass18_1.<<invokePostInsta ll>b__2>d.MoveNext() ---end---- FURTHER UPDATES Many suggestions found on GitHub, Microsoft support site, blogs and other websites have been tried. So after spending several hours googling and searching for a working solution, the following finally worked on the PC in question. A standard user account was created on the PC. Downloaded a new Microsoft teams app. In services.msc, the status of a service called Quality Windows Audio Video Experience was also manually started. Executed the app and no JavaScript error was thrown. N.B: I am still not satisfied with this fix, cos i applied the same troubleshooting approach on another PC throwing up the same JavaScript error, and the fix doesn't work on it. 🙂Solved201KViews1like11CommentsAuto Attendant Call Forwarding: How to Mask Caller ID for External Transfers
Hello everyone, I have a question about the configuration of the Auto Attendant. A brief explanation of the problem: I am currently creating a hotline for one of our business units. A routing point of the Auto Attendant should be that the number 3 is forwarded to the specified external number by pressing a key. Everything works as it should. Now comes the problem: This number, to which the call is then forwarded, is the location of an attendant console (AC-Win system) of our Hipath4000 telephone system of one of our receptions. This can display which hotline the caller is currently coming from. This requires the Auto Attendant to remove the number of the actual caller when forwarding and to forward the call in the context of another predefined number. Is it possible to realize this? Via caller ID policies or something similar? Best regards Elias16Views0likes0CommentsGreen Blocky Glitch on Shared Screen in New Teams Meeting
I have a user on New Teams that repeatedly has trouble with screens being shared in meetings by other people showing up as a Green Blocky mess on her end. So far we have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled New Teams, updated graphics drivers, tested her internet connection (measured at 300Mbps down by 35Mbps Up and she is the only user on it) performed normal system maintenance (SFC, D.I.S.M, CHKDSK), and restarts galore. No luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.5.6KViews6likes41CommentsCQ - Powershell for Output

Each customer in our application has a unique ID and Token, which we need to pass when they install our Teams bot. We attempted to append these parameters to the installation URL as follows: 🔗 Installation URL:https://teams.microsoft.com/l/app/feea88de-b85f-4a8a-a724-d076d8de24af?source=app-details-dialog&context={id:%20%22%22,%20token:%20%22%22} However, we are unable to retrieve these parameters in the installationUpdate callback. What is the correct approach to pass and retrieve custom parameters (ID & Token) during bot installation?32Views0likes1CommentWhat is your SOP for old risky users?
Recently have been tasked with leveraging Entra ID to it's full potential. We've a suite of different tools we use for alerting, so the Risky Users component was essentially ignored for a couple years, and there's a buildup of alerts for sign-in attempts I can't even pull logs for. These users would've been required to change their password since the date on most of these, and we have some hybrid environments I plan on enabling self-clearing for. But wondering what other MSPs have done in this scenario?75Views0likes6Comments
