MS Planner & MS Project
Hello, I work as a project manager, and we want to use MS Project in the company. However, it seems to be not very user-friendly. How can I import a project file that has already been created in the MS Project Desktop version into the Project Web App (PWA) with all resources and tasks included? Even though I import the file, it does not show up in PWA, but newly created projects do. Another question is how to send email reminder notifications for tasks assigned to colleagues in PWA. Is it possible to work with both Project Online and the desktop versions simultaneously, meaning will the entered information be updated directly in the other version? Can someone help me please.
Back to school again... again... again
hi all I have been having an issue where each time open planner it gives me the guide. this happens when I log in or refresh the page. Its three clicks that I would like to reduce when I'm trying to re-enter my day. there appears to be no option to permanently say I got the message and move on with my life till the next big update. the X removes the message so that would be one click, clicking next till the end dose the same, but as soon as I need to refresh (because the Planner is out of sync with the cloud) bam "easy filtering", "Create a task", "start a plan". I got it the first time. Perhaps I'm missing something.
What is the best method to migrate all my asana to the planner?
I carried out a survey in the organization where I provide services and came to the conclusion that it is better to migrate all of ASANA's usability to MS Planner, one for reasons that for task tracking it is basically the same, another is the integration with the entire MS platform. But a bigger concern is that the organization has projects in progress and many tasks in history, however, I am looking for the best way to carry out this migration. I see that there are many third-party programs that perform the same function, but I officially check this forum for better tips.
Bulk Import
Is there a way to bulk update tasks? If you have a list of requests that need to go out, do I have to individually add each task or can I upload an excel with information to create the tasks? Perhaps there is an option using Power Automate to take items from excel to power automate but haven't tried and wasn't sure if there was a built in feature that doesn't require me to build something custom.Backup & Recovery of Planner
We have many staff using Planner (largely in Teams) for project management - it's a great tool! However, we can't find any way to back up or restore a Planner without use of a 3rd party backup/recovery tool. Can anyone offer current thoughts/suggestions on the best way to assure solid backup/recovery options for Planner?When can we drag files, outlook items and attachment to Planner?
The flow to flag mail getting into a task in Planner is great but the attachment of mail is not included. We like to use Planner as Trello for complaints handling by different assignees. The complaint mail is getting into Planner but the attached complaint file doesn't come with it by this flow. So to get this into Planner i would like to drag and drop attachments and files what Trello facilitates. Anybody smart alternatives or workaround or better smart Flow ideas?? I prefer to stick to the MS apps, so no 3rd party apps.
When to use SharePoint site/lists and when to use Planner to create projects and tasks application
We want to create a project management application, with these main features:- 1) Create Plans 2) Create tasks within each plan 3) Define permission on who can view and edit the tasks 4) Create power apps to customize the application UI 5) Create power automate to automate some processes for the app But I am confused if i should use SharePoint site and lists or to use Planner to implement the above requirements? and why? I love that we can export our Planners to Excel, but it does not capture the comments made in our tasks. How can we save the comments that have been made? There is very important information in the comments that I need to save which captures our process taken to complete our tasks.
Comments not saving
Hi All, I am currently having an issue with saving comments on tasks within the Planner. This has started since yesterday afternoon. It looks like it's not working across the board - all plans that I have created within Planner. The issue starts with when I try to add a comment to a task, it saves and shows who created the task etc. The moment I click out of the task and go back into the task, the comment that I added disappears. I've tried across several different browsers still face the same issue, however, when I access this planner from my phone - it works. We have set this planner up as our help desk - MS Form into MS Planner via Power Automate, so the volume of tasks we have on the Planner is circa 350 Tasks so it's something is critical to our business as of now. Has anyone else faced this issue?

Boa tarde. Estou tendo muitas dificuldades com o planner, pois não estou sabendo como impedir que usuários do meu grupo de planner apaguem buckets ou tarefas que eles criaram. Vocês conseguem me ajudar? Como faço isso? Outra dúvida, é como eu ativo as notificações para saber tudo que ocorre com meu plano, tipo: exclusão de tarefa, bucket. e como eu vejo um relatório disse? Consigo criar um grupo em que eu, como administrador, só eu consiga criar buckets e tarefas e as pessoas da minha equipe somente comentem e mudem os status? Grato desde já. Soares
