BUG Report

Hi, I Report a bug when hovering a reaction on a message to view who's reacted to (Windows 10). Sometimes, with the new Teams version (24102.2223.2870.9480.), hovering over a message's reaction causes the chat list to switch from the current one to a random one in your chat history. If I never had to use Teams, I'd be a happy user. Unfortunately some companies prefer it for video calling. So, say, I receive a meeting invite via email. I click it: and pick "Join on the teams app". Then this standalone app comes up: It wants you to log in at the bottom. Mind you I just had this thing open and had already logged in. OK, I click "Sign in" and then this GIF happens for about 2-3 minutes: and then eventually this: Clicking "Sign in" button repeats the cycle. I've seen this error about 6 months ago when I was forced to use teams. So I'm wondering, how many Microsoft engineers does it take to fix this?648Views0likes1CommentMS Teams stealing the focus when presenter switches into/out-of screen sharing...
I am using Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.11161 (64-bit). It was last updated on 4/22/2021. Ever since the latest release, it has been stealing the focus from other applications. It does this consistently whenever I am on a video call and one of the other participants switches into (or out of) screen-sharing mode. By "stealing focus" I am specifically saying that if I am focused on any other application on either of my 2 screens, and the other person on the call switches into or out of screen-share on their machine, then my local MS-Teams app window forcibly comes to the top/foreground window and grabs the focus away from whatever other window/app I was in. It forces me to alt-tab back to that application to continue. And before you ask: Yes, I reported this via the "Report a Problem" link in the application as well. I just am so frustrated by this that I felt the need to report it here too, maybe to see just how many others are experiencing this behavior as well. MS Teams: PLEASE FIX THIS HORRIFIC BEHAVIOR! I'm using MacOS Teams v1.6.00.27656 on MacOS 14.0 on my work O365 account. I do not see a toggle to switch the new Teams in the top-left of my Teams app. I also do not see an option to "Report a Problem" under the Help menu in the bottom-left (it only shows Topics, Training, What's New, Suggest a Feature, and Give Feedback).968Views0likes3CommentsMoving writing cursor to the right not working anymore (RTL support)
In the chat textbox when we pressed RCTRL + RShift, the cursor would move to the right to allow RTL text to be shown correctly while writing. Like in any other application. Even in Notepad it works. Not in teams, for the passed 2-3 months. Is this a bug? was this on purpose? Can we get that basic functionality back? Thank you so much, Royi.856Views5likes1Commentwindows teams in-app web browsing issue
Hi 🙂 I have an issue that opens the Teams browser when clicking the middle mouse button on a web URL in Teams channel. This issue has been appearing since the Teams update on March 3rd. My Windows Teams version is 1.6.00.4472 Is this normal behavior? Or is it a bug? Can I disable this?804Views0likes0CommentsUnable to log out of Teams on Linux
Unable to raise this as a bug report because the bug report feature on Teams (Linux) doesn't work! Madness. Main report is that Teams will not allow you to log out of an account for whose credentials have "expired" until you've logged into it again. In other words, let's say I logged in to Teams using account A and then came back to it tomorrow, wishing to log into another account, account B. If login A has "expired" (ie is asking for credentials again) you get stuck in a loop where you can't get rid of the prompt to log in until you've logged IN to that account, only to sign out again. This is of course plainly ridiculous. If login A has expired and I want to use login B, I shouldn't have to log in and out of login A first. Total waste of time and has caught me out multiple times. Hi, as I was creating a custom scene with a larger number of participants I ran into the problem that placing and ordering participants became unreliable. Especially the seats 1-10 start to shuffle their positions around after having saved the scene. For my scene, I wanted to place participants similar to how they are placed in the auditorium scene: first few go in the middle and additional participants get placed in a circular way around the first few. That way, the scene expands naturally. However, as I tried to create this arrangement I noticed that the ordering keeps getting messed up after saving a scene. Sometimes, saving alone messes up the scene already, because it does a short update after hitting the Save button. Othertimes , I need to close and reopen the scene after a save for the order to rearrange. Steps to reproduce the behaviour: Create a new Custom Scene from Blank Scene Add an image (any image will do) Add 20 participants Place participants in "circular" order Start by "1" in the middle Place higher numbers around "1" (some next to, some behind, some in front) Adjust ordering accordingly by e.g. sending participants backward or forward Save scene Close scene Open scene As said, sometimes participants get rearranged after step 5 already, sometimes all steps are required for a rearrange to take place. This is how it might look before a save: And this is right after: Notice how participants 1-7 have shifted their positions and ordering! Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a known bug? When will this be fixed? Cheers Andreas1.4KViews0likes3CommentsBug: Attachments in email sent to Teams channel saved as different versions of the same document
Hi, I encountered this bug while testing today: When you send an email to a channel containing two attachments with the same name (but still distinct documents), they are merged into one document - each attachment representing one version of the saved document. This should probably work the same way as if you download the same item multiple times, adding a (x) to the end of the name of the documents. Regards, KnutSolved1.4KViews1like3Comments
