Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the new calendar seems to refuse being pinned to the left navigation. Using version: 24295.612.3262.1872 The good news is I think I found a workaround: switch back to the old calendar Pin it Switch back Worked on my end. I might have been in this predicament because I originally had the new calendar installed as a separate app (from the Teams store). Since updating last night, that app went away but I was now able to view the toggle to switch to the new calendar. Now the only issue is that I can't move the pinned calendar to another position on the navigation. Anyone else having these issues? I've experienced this on two different accounts, on different devices.147Views0likes0CommentsIssues with cursor jumping around while typing on documents in teams/randomly deleting text
Hi, wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. Sometimes, when working on a shared document in Teams and using the "Reviewing" function (aka tracking edits), our employees, including myself, will notice our cursor jumps around when making changes, often to a random spot in the document, and often randomly deletes or inserts text as well. This doesn't seem to happen if we open the document in Word and then edit it there, or if we only use the "Editing" function that does not track changes. It has nothing to do with the computer's physical trackpad or mouse either, as it doesn't happen in any other application/Word itself. Also, it happens for pretty much everyone in the organization, all of whom have different laptops. Anyone have a solution for this or know if there's a bug fix happening soon? It's very annoying and causes a lot of headaches when finalizing documents later.6.1KViews1like6CommentsMS Teams stealing the focus when presenter switches into/out-of screen sharing...
I am using Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.11161 (64-bit). It was last updated on 4/22/2021. Ever since the latest release, it has been stealing the focus from other applications. It does this consistently whenever I am on a video call and one of the other participants switches into (or out of) screen-sharing mode. By "stealing focus" I am specifically saying that if I am focused on any other application on either of my 2 screens, and the other person on the call switches into or out of screen-share on their machine, then my local MS-Teams app window forcibly comes to the top/foreground window and grabs the focus away from whatever other window/app I was in. It forces me to alt-tab back to that application to continue. And before you ask: Yes, I reported this via the "Report a Problem" link in the application as well. I just am so frustrated by this that I felt the need to report it here too, maybe to see just how many others are experiencing this behavior as well. MS Teams: PLEASE FIX THIS HORRIFIC BEHAVIOR! Sincerely, Rich LarsonSolved25KViews13likes31CommentsMedia Keys and Teams notifications
If I use keyboard media keys to pause music when I receive a call in teams, the notification sound doesn't seem to get dismissed when I answer the call. So, when I later press play, it also resumes playing the teams call sound over my music. It does seem to go away on it's own eventually, but it's kind of annoying when I want to listen to music!Solved61KViews12likes47CommentsUnable to log out of Teams on Linux
Unable to raise this as a bug report because the bug report feature on Teams (Linux) doesn't work! Madness. Main report is that Teams will not allow you to log out of an account for whose credentials have "expired" until you've logged into it again. In other words, let's say I logged in to Teams using account A and then came back to it tomorrow, wishing to log into another account, account B. If login A has "expired" (ie is asking for credentials again) you get stuck in a loop where you can't get rid of the prompt to log in until you've logged IN to that account, only to sign out again. This is of course plainly ridiculous. If login A has expired and I want to use login B, I shouldn't have to log in and out of login A first. Total waste of time and has caught me out multiple times. Hello! I'm having a bug with Profile Pictures. I've tried changing it many times, but I receive an error every time. What makes this stranger is I have never set a profile picture in Teams but somehow Teams imported an old profile Picture from my Xbox Account - And won't let me change it. I've tried to change my profile picture in Teams on Windows and Android. Windows gives this error: "There was a problem saving the photo. Please try again" Android gives this error: "Failed to update profile picture. Please try again" So, what in want to know is: 1. Why Teams is not using my Microsoft Account profile picture. 2. Why Teams is using my Xbox 360 Profile Picture. 3. How do I fix this so Teams can use the profile picture I want it to. Please find screenshots of errors & of my MS and Xbox accounts attached. Additional: My wife is also having the exact same problem on her account.Solved133KViews3likes20CommentsTab in teams desktop is not loading but working fine in browser

But through VPN its loading in desktop app also. The tab in app contains the URL for UI for our bot. Can anyone knows how to fix this?3.3KViews1like1CommentTeams opens an old meeting on launch
I had a meeting with my child's school months ago, and now every time I launch MS Teams a window of the expired meeting opens with giant confusing UI. My company instance of MS Teams also opens, in a separate window. It's confusing and annoying to close the old glitchy window on every launch. How can I stop this from happening? I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I can't tell which version of Teams I'm running because when I go to "Microsoft Teams -> About Microsoft Teams" either nothing happens, or the glitchy window opens 😂Solved6.8KViews0likes1CommentTeams on Linux hangs on exit
When trying to quit teams on Linux using the appropriate context menu button, the application hangs indefinitely. Only kill/killall on the terminal ends the application. This occurs on multiple machines, and no other application (mis)behaves like this.
