Media Keys and Teams notifications
If I use keyboard media keys to pause music when I receive a call in teams, the notification sound doesn't seem to get dismissed when I answer the call. So, when I later press play, it also resumes playing the teams call sound over my music. It does seem to go away on it's own eventually, but it's kind of annoying when I want to listen to music!
Why Microsoft Team doesn't work in Chromium?
I'm using Chromium the open source project behind Chrome. In Chrome everything works fine but not in Chromium. The biggest difference between the two browsers is that, while Chrome is based on Chromium, Google also adds a number of proprietary features to Chrome like automatic updates and support for additional video formats.
Teams opens an old meeting on launch
I had a meeting with my child's school months ago, and now every time I launch MS Teams a window of the expired meeting opens with giant confusing UI. My company instance of MS Teams also opens, in a separate window. It's confusing and annoying to close the old glitchy window on every launch. How can I stop this from happening? I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I can't tell which version of Teams I'm running because when I go to "Microsoft Teams -> About Microsoft Teams" either nothing happens, or the glitchy window opens 😂
Issues with cursor jumping around while typing on documents in teams/randomly deleting text
Hi, wondering if anyone else has seen this issue. Sometimes, when working on a shared document in Teams and using the "Reviewing" function (aka tracking edits), our employees, including myself, will notice our cursor jumps around when making changes, often to a random spot in the document, and often randomly deletes or inserts text as well. This doesn't seem to happen if we open the document in Word and then edit it there, or if we only use the "Editing" function that does not track changes. It has nothing to do with the computer's physical trackpad or mouse either, as it doesn't happen in any other application/Word itself. Also, it happens for pretty much everyone in the organization, all of whom have different laptops. Anyone have a solution for this or know if there's a bug fix happening soon? It's very annoying and causes a lot of headaches when finalizing documents later.
(FIXED) Teams interfering with my system sounds and microphone
EDIT: If anyone's having the same issue i Managed to fix it by going to windows' sound control panel >communications and setting the volume adjustment for calls to "do nothing". This is still an odd bug though... Ever since last week the program has been lowering the volume of the system sounds, despite the actual volume and everything else on the PC stays the same, and also lowers the volume of my microphone when i'm not in a call. I thought the microphone itself somehow stopped working properly but as it turns out when i'm in a Teams call it works fine, but then when i leave the call it lowers the volume of the mic everywhere else. I don't seem to find anyone who's been having the same issues as me.
Teams Constantly Shows Unread in Other Teams Account
I am a member of two Teams "organisations" [1]. We have our own Teams setup for internal use and then I am also present as a guest in certain Teams/Channels in one of our client's Teams - for discussions around collaborative development project with the client. I get a switcher up next to my name (I am using Windows desktop client) which allows me to switch between the two. This largely works. I think it's too slow and heavy when switching - seems to log me out and in to the other but it works to switch. The main problem is that it insists, most of the time, in showing a number of unread messages in the "other" team. I.e. currently if I am showing our Teams it shows 6 unread in the client Teams. If I switch it show 2 unread in our teams. I have nothing unread in either. Frankly, this makes it almost worse to have the joint channel than not. I cannot keep switching (since it takes so long, and since I have work to do :)) so I have to rely on the notifications to know if there is something there I need to read. Have had similar arrangements with clients using Slack which has worked really well... I couldn't find a simple "Report a bug" location (which is, in and of itself, also a bug IMO!) so posting it here. I've created custom app in teams app studio for client. Its working fine when we opened teams in browser. But its not loading in teams desktop app in client network. But through VPN its loading in desktop app also. The tab in app contains the URL for UI for our bot. Can anyone knows how to fix this?There was a problem when attaching this file. Please remove and tried again.
Hello why is this happening? I try web also having same problem, I try delete some files on One Drive also same, and I going to miss the deadline due to this. In the chat box or upload directly to the group doesnt have problem, only this one which created by my lecturer is having problem.
