Hi All, Just had the functionality to add a Calendar as a Tab to a Microsoft Team. We were hoping to use this to track days off (as all day 'free time' events with no attendees), and to schedule meetings that the Department can track, but doesn't necessarily require everyone to be invited. However, every time we add an event, it automatically sends an invite to everyone in the team, and posts the content in the Posts section of the team. We looked at the Required Attendees, and no one was listed. Under the Scheduling Assistant, the only person listed under the Required Attendees is the user creating the invite. There is no one else in the team added. However, all teams members get an invite in their Outlook. Is there a way to: 1. Schedule items into the Calendar where invites are not sent out? 2. Ways to limit the users that do get invites if we want to have smaller meetings? 3. Stop it from posting everything to the Posts chat? (similar to adding a tab where you can deselect the "post to this channel about the tab") Thanks.Solved106KViews8likes7CommentsMeetings made in Teams not showing in Teams Calendar?
I've tried to make several meetings in Teams recently, some inside Teams and Channels, some not. I've invited other members of my team to join. None of the meetings that I make within a Team or Channel appear in my calendar within teams. They do appear in only 1 of my team's calendar, but no-one elses? The meetings that I've made that are not in a Team/Channel do appear in my calendar, but don't appear in other invitees calendars? At the moment, we have our gmail email addresses linked to our MS Teams email addresses, and we're having to use the google calendar events to get into MS Teams meetings, which is silly. What's going on? I can't see any option to make the meetings visible or invisible for some people and not others. Thanks,52KViews4likes13CommentsTeams - Multiple Meeting Organisers
We are needing to have more than one meeting organiser who is able to edit recurring meeting details/attendees/starting times of occurrences as needed. We are in a situation where we have part time staff job sharing who both need access to the feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.38KViews1like4CommentsRedirect Teams Meeting invites to Google Calendar
Hello, we activated Teams due to the Corona situation and face a problem here. We normally use GSuite as our primary tools for Mailing, Calendar and more. Now we want to schedule meetings via Microsoft Teams, which works fine so far, but we don't want invitations to be sent to the Microsoft E-Mail Account, but rather to Gmail. We use the following pattern for both our GSuite and Microsoft: "name.surname@company.com". If we invite someone from our company to a meeting, they receive an E-mail in their Microsoft Inbox, but even if we create redirect rules, they don't get the invitation redirected to their GMail. Is there a way to solve this? Thank you! Kevin35KViews1like3CommentsCan't connect to external meetings from the Teams Calendar, but can from Outlook
I am getting reports from many of my users across my organization that when they try and join a Teams meeting hosted by an external third party (such as a vendor, partner, or customer), that the meeting never connects if they click Join from the Teams calendar. However, if they go to the same meeting request in Outlook, they are able to join via the web link. Is there any particular reason my users cannot join a Teams meeting being hosted by an outside resource directly within Teams? All of our users have been migrated to Office 365 and Exchange Online, and Teams works pretty much flawlessly otherwise. RESOLVED - It was Mimecast causing the issue, we simply added a URL bypass policy for teams.microsoft.com to Mimecast, so did not put a mimecast.com security URL in its place.Solved33KViews0likes3CommentsHow to Start a Meeting at a Different Time for Different People
I need to create a Teams meeting invite using Calendar where the candidate being interviewed has to wait in the lobby until they are permitted into the meeting by the hosts. How exactly do I do this with Calendar? Supposedly it has something to do with the specific Teams link of the meeting.28KViews0likes1CommentTeams calendar not syncing with exchange on-prem calendar
Hello, I have a problem with the calendar sync between exchange online/Teams for a customer. I configured Azure AD Connect with the hybrid option and users are synced to the cloud and licensed with O365 E3. I setup exchange hybrid on an exchange server 2016 CU11 with the new version of the Hybrid Wizard, ending with the OAuth error after the first run. So I configured OAuth manually with the docs.microsoft manual and calendar sync was working, for 1 day. At the next day it wasn't working and I couldn't get it running again since then, 3 weeks ago. I checked all OAuth config elements, reastablished them individually, startet the Hybrid Wizrad several times, always ending with the OAuth error. I tested with teh test-oauthconnectivity cmdlet in both directions which ends always successfull, restarted the server and services several times, checked the availability service and with the remote connectivity analyzer for free/busy and everything was successful but sync is still not working again. Can someone help me with this issue or has tipps to chekc further? Kind Regards Julian25KViews0likes13CommentsChange Calendar in Teams
Hi there, Employees have several own calendars in their Office 365 Exchange Account (e.g. Private, Workshop, Business-Partner-Calls). In the calendar sections in Teams is only the primary default Kalender Outlook creates available (unfortunately this calendar isn't used by the employees). How is it possible to change the calendar which is shown in teams to another one (e.g. Business-Partner-Calls)? Is it even possible to overlap different calendars in Teams to see open time slots? Or other way round: how can we integrate different calendars in the default calendar in outlook (share?) which is displayed in Teams?
