Hello, since macOS Sequoia the appointments in Bookings are no longer synchronized with Apple Calendar on Mac. However, the appointments are synchronized on iOS 18.2 devices. Has anyone else had this problem?91Views4likes4CommentsNo availability on bookings
Hi All I am having a sudden persistent issue with the booking system. We have been using same link just fine, but all of a sudden no times are available for myself or the team even though the outlook calendar is clear. Everyone is just showing as unavailable. Booking page is public and all settings same to the rest of my booking pages.29Views0likes0CommentsTime zone erratically assigned
I'm using Bookings through an Education account at an R1 university. I have attempted setting up my calendar availability many different ways in Bookings, but I continue to experience the same error about which many others have complained. Unfortunately, the workaround that seems to work for business users is not an option in educational accounts. The option to "Always show time slots in business time zone" appears nowhere. This morning, I had a student book an appointment with me, thinking it was at 10a (PST), when it was actually a slot for 1pm (EST, and where we are located). The confirmation email I received showed the time as 12p (CST). This seems to be a perennial problem with Bookings, yet no one seems to have a solution for it in this particular context. We're not technically a "business," but major universities are BIG money for Microsoft. I can only imagine how much profit they are making selling their platform to a university like this, with >32k students and >12,000 employees, across all campuses. It seems like y'all might consider re-working the application code to develop a more stable solution. I never had this issue when our University still allowed us to use Google calendar with students. If someone has an answer, I will be forever in your debt.24Views0likes0CommentsProblem with Time Zones
I use bookings to arrange meetings with students. Often, students schedule a meeting and it appears to them in a different time zone, even though we are geographically in the same place. Perhaps they have a different time zone set somewhere in a Microsoft app, or perhaps the default when signing up for a meeting as a guest is somehow set to a different time zone--what ever the case, there seems to be a problem with default time zones for students. My time zones are all set to Eastern time across Bookings and Outlook. This issue is causing me (and my 12 colleagues) significant scheduling problems as we need to schedule hundreds of meetings with students. When I search for solutions in community postings, it seems like selecting "Always show time slots in business time zone" would solve our problem. But this option does not appear in my Bookings setting anywhere that I can find. I have tried to follow step by step processes from Microsoft help pages, but the settings menus in the tutorials do not look like mine. If it is helpful to know, I use an Apple MacBook Air M3; I access my Bookings page through Teams and my Firefox browser; and I use Outlook through the app.168Views2likes1CommentGroup bookings
I am trying to create a new booking service as a Group booking instead of an Individual booking. Based on what I have read, there should be a Service Type dropdown field when creating the service. However, in my instance of Bookings, I do not see that dropdown menu. Any suggestions?16Views0likes0CommentsHow to set up a booking with multiple staff?
Our office just switched to Office 365. I'm used to using calendar/booking software like Calendly etc. I find it easier to send people a booking link than to try to coordinate between multiple people. I need to send a booking link to an external customer but I need the available times to book to be where there is overlap between multiple staff members, and for when the booking is made, it alerts these multiple staff. For instance, I am trying to set up a meeting with an external client, my boss, and myself. I want the external client to be able to only book times that my boss and I are both available, and when they book I want it to include both my boss and myself in the booking. I tried to set up a booking and turned off the "choose staff" option, but instead of booking both of us, it only booked one of us. Is it possible to do what I want to do in the MS booking app?88KViews9likes34CommentsBookings shows available time slots even though it is booked in my calendar
I created a personal booking page. But I do not see the time slots displayed in my calendar and when I go to the booking page, all time are available completely not taking into account the meetings that are already in my calendar. Why in the name of god would you ever design a self booking function that does not look at existing meetings in the target calendar. Worked with google self scheduler and calendly and this is absolutely a non existing problem for both of these platforms. Now transitioned to 365 and I can't seem to get a simple feature as a self scheduler set up :( Attached a screenshot of all the available configuration options. So 2 questions: - I want to see the blocks in my calendar (attached an example of google self scheduler how it shows up in your calendar - it completely ignores meetings in my calendar and lets people book those slots leading to double bookings. Please help me out.472Views9likes13CommentsDates in Bookings only in English?
Hello everyone, I only set the system language in German in Microsoft Office 365. Likewise in Outlook. I can change this in Bookings, but the changes are not taken over. So my German -speaking customers receive appointment proposals in AM and PM which I don't like. There are also older people who do not understand this time system. Is there a way to fix this error? Thanks Tom31Views0likes2Comments
