Copilot Agent inside SharePoint site is not able to answer questions regarding the custom columns
I have a SharePoint online document library named Test. and it has those 3 custom columns inside a custom content type:- now using a username named Mohannad , i uploaded 2 documents, and for one document i defined a user named "Test User" as the "MC / Project Lead (Use)", as follow:- but when i asked the agent this question, about who is the Project Lead , i did not get the "Test User", instead i get the user Mohanand:- also when i ask the agent about the project team, i got this answer:- so how i can modify this behavior? Second question. when Copilot said that the document is authored by Mohannd, how it get the Author info? based on the created by field inside SharePoint? and can we create a custom column , so the copilot reads the author from it instead of relying on any built-in field?Copilot license for creating AI Agents for SharePoint & Copilot Studio
I have users with E3 license, but they are not able to create AI Agents for SharePoint sites & AI agent using Copilot studio. so what is the best license for those users? Here are the licenses those users have:- And where are the options i got when i access Copilot license inside our Office 365 admin center:- Any advice? which license i need to buy to allow E3 users to create AI agents for SharePoint and AI using Copilot studio? Sharepoint Agent not talking in Teams chat
Hello, I created an agent in one of our Sharepoint Site : The agent works fine inside Sharepoint, but when I add it to a Teams group chat, whether the chat members all have access to the Sharepoint content and a Copilot licence or not, the agent doesn't "talk". It doen't even introduce itself : I tried to follow many tutorials/documentation, such as https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-an-agent-from-sharepoint-in-teams-6dcbf7b5-8c13-44e5-a68a-dbd71fb76ad3, but found nothing on this issue. I have been extremely disappointed with Copilot after a year plus of struggles. I want to create a company chat bot based on core documents. One for HR, one for company methods, etc. It seems CoPilot Studio is the only way -- it is arcane, complex, confusing -- i have "something" working but not at all effective. If someone has a streamlined approach to using CoPilot Studio, I am all about it, but I struggled for hours to get a mediocre bot. The value of O365 is the collection of thousands of documents. CoPilot seemingly has no access to them. Microsoft is adding small plus up features to excel and ppt, but the power of AI is to process large quantities of data and help a human make sense. This should be microsofts competitive differentiator, but it is totally absent. Am i missing something?
Copilot searching SharePoint inconsistent
I realize that using SharePoint search to search SharePoint works great, but noticed that many times I ask Copilot for information that I KNOW is in our SharePoint, the results are poor. As test, I searched for a simple last name of one of our team from SharePoint and got 80 or so results. When I asked Copilot to "give me a list of every file where xxxx is found", it came back with 6 results. Why the discrepancy and how do we go about making this more reliable?
Excel Connector Issue in Copilot Studio for Agent using SharePoint as Knowledge Source
I am creating a declarative agent in Copilot studio to easily access information from my team's SharePoint site. However, I am having issues with the excel connector. I receive the error message below when asking copilot a question relating to the excel file. "Error Message: The connector 'Excel Online (Business)' returned an HTTP error with code 404. The creation of Copilot Agent is now enabled in SharePoint 🚀. Users holding M365 Copilot licenses will notice a new Copilot feature in the Suite Navigation bar, tailored to the site they are currently viewing. Additionally, they will find options to create Copilot agents from the 'New' menu on the homepage and within their document libraries. These features are accessible only to users with existing creation and editing rights on the site or document library.
