Do Not Disturb
2 TopicsTeams 2.0 Do not disturb banner comes back at every start
Hello guys, I have made the jump to 2.0 just before our whole company makes that leap too. I want to check all the issues that might arise before we officially update to 2.0. One thing that is annoying right now is this banner : "Windows recently set you to Do not disturb. You might have missed some notifications. Make sure to go to Windows settings to check your Do not disturb preferences." This banner comes when you have set your windows to do not disturb mode. Despite that, I have my windows notification setting set to "Priority Only" and I have added Teams to the allow list. So, I get notifications from Teams. But the current version of Teams, doesn't seem to have this context. So at every start of teams, I get this banner. There should be an option to hide this or ignore it permanently. My device info : Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3324 Microsoft Teams version 23217.805.2326.4563 Client version is 49/23080601414 Thanks for the help. Cheers ThomasToggle Teams Notifications to Do Not Disturb (Temporarily)
Let me preface by saying I am a Slack believer, so I really would like Teams to be able to do similar things since I have to use it instead of Slack. I'm used to being able to toggle my DND (Do not disturb) setting on and off. This allows me to have focused time where my chat isn't pinging me left and right and I can check back into when I'm ready. Slack notifies the sender that you have notifications silenced and gives the option to "notify anyway" if the message is urgent. I don't want to have to go into my Teams settings to turn off sounds everytime I want to focus, and I'd like to be able to show my teammates that I am online, just trying to focus. Please add a DND toggle to the status dropdown!2.5KViews0likes1Comment
