Downloads not completing
similar to this one but on an enterprise estate using edge stable as opposed to being an insider https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/edge-downloads-are-not-completing/m-p/4005963 I have replicated this on edge stable beta and dev i've also restarted / refreshed the browser - same issue exists afterwards and no new policies have been rolled out.
Untrusted downloads
When I download an Excel file with from an internal web server (AD-joined devices) the file is marked as unsafe: When I do the same in IE11 or Edge Legacy, the file is not marked as unsafe. If the file is marked as unsafe, the user gets the yellow bar saying enable to edit. This is a real impediment within our environment. In IE11 and Edge Legacy "Trusted" websites were configured within the Zones. How are websites "trusted" in Edge Chromium in regards to downloads? SmartScreen is disabled by GPO. I have not found any hint within the documentation. Any ideas?edge policies to control the appearance settings of history and downloads
Are there plans to create edge policies for controlling the appearance of history and downloads on the menu of edge like show cast / home button etc? are there any other way to control its appearance not though admx in endpoint manager for now?
