Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsTeams stuck in "Loading latest updates..." error
I have been having the same error with Teams for the past few months, across two different computers, and with me having uninstalled and reinstalled Teams several times. Effectively, Teams works fine the first time it is reinstalled, but when I go to use it the following day, even if the computer has not been shut down in the meantime, I get a "Loading latest updates... in the meantime, you can still send and respond to messages" line in the toolbar. I cannot actually send or respond to messages (or receive them) while this is going on, though. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate the guidance - Teams is effectively unusable for me right now, which is a problem given how much we use it to communicate in my department.29KViews5likes9CommentsUnable to Log Into Teams on iPhone. Error: Sign-in Error
Hello, Has anyone been able to resolve the Sign-In Error issue? It appears to be an issue between the Microsoft Authenticator app and Teams. Our organization is using Conditional Access policies to require MFA via the Microsoft Authenticator App. After MFA completes and the phone returns to Teams, the error message is displayed. Azure AD Sign-In log displays MFA success. Steps to produce: 1. Open Teams 2. add account tscbank.com 3. select work account 4. Flips to Microsoft Authenticator 5. Enter Password 6. Flips to Teams 7. Displays error: Sign-In Error Here is what I've tried: - deleted the account from Teams - restarted the phone - reinstalled teams - tried to delete cache from Teams settings in iOS General (never seems to clear) - removed email address from personal Microsoft accountSolved118KViews0likes11CommentsHelp me get FLIP to work.
Here's my specific question (I think): How can I use Teams for Education if I already use my school email for Teams for Business? My end goal is to be able to use the FLIP app available in Teams for Education. I intend to use FLIP as a video discussion platform for my university classes (FLIP is formerly Flipgrid, a 3rd-party tool from 2012, and acquired by Microsoft in 2018). FLIP is no longer supported by Microsoft as a 3rd-party tool. Recent news articles indicate that certain features have been integrated into Teams for Education. - https://help.flip.com/hc/en-us/articles/23985951972375-A-New-Chapter-for-Flip-FAQ - https://help.flip.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003080054-Microsoft-Teams-integration - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/integrating-flip-into-microsoft-teams/fd43bd57-f755-4c4c-ab0d-2c71f79fdca3 My university already has a Microsoft Teams for Business account. But, FLIP isn't available for Teams for Business. As part of the tool acquisition deal, Microsoft only agreed to provide it for free for educational purposes. Therefore, the FLIP app was removed from the Teams for Business product on July 1st, 2024. So far as I understand, FLIP is only being integrated into the Teams for Education product. I tried downloading Teams for Education, but when I install it, Teams for Business opens. I can't open Teams for Education. Here are my questions: 1. Sales: Can I download and use Teams for Education independently from Teams for Business? Does Teams for Education require purchasing a separate license? Would I need a separate email (apart from the email I use for Teams for Business)? 2. Teams for Business Engineers: Is there a chance similar functionality to the FLIP app will be integrated into Teams for Business? If so, when might I expect that? Many thanks for helping me get FLIP (features) working for my students for Fall semester.3.9KViews0likes3CommentsJoin button in meeting notification window in macOS is not working anymore
Hello everybody. I have "macOS 13.6.1" and "Microsoft Teams (work or school) 23285.3804.2469.4861". I've been using "Meeting start notifications" perfectly for years, but in the last few days, every time that I try to join a meeting clicking on "Join" button doesn't work. Is this happening to anyone else? My workaround is to go to Calendar view, find the meeting and join from there. Thanks for your help RegardsSolved1.1KViews0likes2CommentsNew Teams: MsixvcStagingSession failed with error 0x80070570. (0x80070570)
App installation failed with error message: Common::Deployment::MsixvcStagingSession::GetManifestReader in MsixvcStagingSession failed with error 0x80070570. (0x80070570) This error happens instantly, I see a 0% loading bar and then the error occures. I am on a domain machine using a local administrator account. What I have done so far: DISM /online /cleanup-image /check health - ok SFC /Scannow - Founder corruption, fixed it, restart, no change. Deleted ProgramData/Microsoft/*Teams files/folders Delete %appdata%/Local and roaming TEAMS files and TEMP cache. Delete Software Distribution folder content. Used 'Everything' app to find and delete the remaining TEAMS files. Restarted 3-4 times now, no change. Please advise? Dear all, Since a few days I have a strange bug in Microsoft Teams (version 1.6.00.22155 and 1.6.00.17554) on MacOS (Ventura 13.4). I work in a school, so we have a "corporate" Office365 account with 2-factor authentication through the authenticator app on my phone. Here is the issue: - I deleted the entire Teams folder in Application Support - I also removed all entries with "Teams" in them for the Keychain in MacOS, disabled SIP for this - I installed the latest (and previous) version of Teams - I login with the usual method, this is okay - I quit and restart Teams, all is well and good - I quit and restart Teams again, now I'm in a death-loop. I get error code 3000 (nothing to find online on this code) and a button to restart or logout. These buttons, and the rest of the app, are unresponsive and Teams keeps on rebooting itself. I can only interrupt this by force-quitting the app a few times - When I delete the Teams folder in Application Support, I can login again and use the app for two instances. After this, the same misery. I hope someone can shed some light here. This is costing me too much time at the moment (the start of the college period is very busy), so any help is greatly appreciated!3.4KViews0likes16CommentsMS Teams virtual background effects blending with real background
I've been using MS Teams since COVID hit and this week I've had my first issue with virtual backgrounds. No different settings than what I am used to. I'm pretty sure my MS Teams was just running off default settings. When I'm in a meeting, I can set the background to "blur" which works properly but I would rather use a virtual background. However, when I do this now it works but there are some items in my room that also appear in the background - it's mixing the virtual and real backgrounds. For example, my bed and a picture that is on my wall in the background is visible with the space or office setting virtual background. I tried restarting Teams, uninstall and reinstall, closing and opening, signing out and in. Is there any setting particular to this? Or is this just a matter of this won't work for me anymore? Is it the laptop getting older? My colleagues still have working Teams backgrounds. Thanks!! any help is appreciated.Solved9.7KViews0likes2CommentsTags - Can't add anyone - "We had trouble applying your changes. Please try again later."
