Hello, We have some issues with our Exchange server. After CU15 install we have high(er) CPU usage at the server and slow(er) Outlook (online no cache mode enabled) connection at the client. MAPI over HTTP and Exchange Extended Protection is enabled. Have anybody else who have the same issues?430Views0likes3CommentsExchange Server 2019 working properly, except for Outlook Mobile users
Hi there, We are currently experiencing issues with our Exchange 2019 Server. Everything is working fine except clients on mobile devices. We can setup the clients mailbox in apps such as: Outlook, BlueMail, Apple Mail, Android Mail. But we can't sent mail at all (Also sent items folder is empty), but we do receive 'some' e-mails. (Not all) Anyone experiencing the same kind of issues? Hello Community, we have an Exchange Server 2019 CU12 Hybrid environment and we want to automate the common Exchange tasks with Service Now (create mailbox, Distribution list) as i have to create the items on the on-prem Exchange servers i need th Exchnage CMDlets to push the commands with Powershell scripts. As the Service Now Mid Server don't have this Exchange Cmdlets installed my idea was to connect the Service Now Mid Server with the Exchange management Shell and the run the commands. Based on Security reasons we want to connect the Exchange Management Shell over HTTPS and not over HTTP. Unfortunately, Microsoft only documented HTTP connection "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/exchange/connect-to-exchange-servers-using-remote-powershell?view=exchange-ps" I found also a how-to to enable SSL for Management Shell o the Exchange Server 2016. I follwed the instruction but its still not working. Ist there a Best practice available to allow Exchange Management Shell connections over HTTPS? Hello dear friends. I have strange problems with EAC on iphones and iPads. The essence of the problem is that if there is an attached photo inside the body of the letter, it does not open immediately but loads for about a minute or two and only then opens, and you understand that the user is very worried at this moment. There are no such problems on Android devices, everything works smoothly, all attachments open without delay. EAC published via MS WAP, but, i thing problem not with wap server. Perhaps, some of you have already encountered a similar problem and can help me solve it. Thank you.409Views0likes0CommentsImpossible to send from android smartphone with exchange 2019

Hello, I am trying to give a user from a forest A fullaccess to a shared mailbox located in forest B. Bidirectional trust is configured on the forests. I use this command from Forest A: Add-MailboxPermission -Identity YYYMailboxNameYYY -User YYYDomain\Username from Forest BYYY -AccessRights fullaccess -InheritanceType all When running this command, I receive the following error: WARNING: An unexpected error has occurred and a Watson dump is being generated: Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.Recipient.ADContact' to type 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.Recipient.IADSecurityPrincipal'. Unable to cast object of type 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.Recipient.ADContact' to type 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.Recipient.IADSecurityPrincipal'. + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Add-MailboxPermission], InvalidCastException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : System.InvalidCastException,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.RecipientTasks.AddMailboxPermission The only workaround I found is to change the msExchVersion attribute on the MailContact in the AD from value 88218628259840 to value 1125899906842624 before running the command. I would like to know if someone has already encountered this error and if a real solution is available to solve this issue. Thanks.1KViews0likes2CommentsExchange CU Installation
Do we need to run /Preparealldomains if we have Exchange server and mail-enaled objects present in all of the domains. what if we are responsible only for few domains ( out of all ) and need to run /Preparedomain only on those domains, can we still install Exchange CU in the Exchange servers in the domain for which we ran /preparedomain. And after running /PrepAD and /Preparedomain, and installing CU on just one of the server, can we delegate the installation to another team which do not have Org management role ?416Views0likes1CommentOnline - Data retrieval failures occurred
One of 3 Exchange Servers running on Windows Server 2019 returns "Online - Data retrieval failures occurred" I have tried to fix it by following this fix. I have also tried: cd C:\Windows\System32\wbem\Autorecover Now, /f %s in ('dir /b *.mof *.mfl') do mofcomp %s However, neither do not seem to fix it. Do you have any other suggestions? We have 2 * Exchange 2019 servers running in a DAG with approx 11,000+ users. To send out urgent notifications we have a Distribution group with all users that we send out to. We do not want a 3rd party company. There are several departments that use this DL too that have the autority. Our organisation is linked with 2 other organisations each with their own DAG but 1 AD/Exchange environment. When we send out to this DL, there is a lag in users' Outlook experience and we notice the Disk Queue Latency jumps up to around 5-10 for about 5 minutes and we can see the message queue has up to around 100 messages per DB. What I am look for is a way to Throttle either the sending mailbox (in messages per minute and not per day such as the recipientratelimit setting) or the 20 mailbox databases from accepting such a large burst. Exchange databases are spread over 2 drives with separate log drives. Mailbox totals are around 13TB.744Views0likes2Comments
