Flow
7 TopicsHow to import Flow to Teams
I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find an answer on the internet. I was wondering if there was a way to import your flows created through the web client into the widget in teams. After installing a widget on a channel, the only option are to either create from scratch or to start with a template. I cannot find an option to import a Flow from anywhere else. I would just make the Flow a template and start from that, but it has private company data that I would prefer to not publish on the internet. I'm I just missing something incredibly obvious or is there really no way to do this?Solved4.6KViews0likes2CommentsFlow tabs in Teams Channel - No flows can be found
Hi all, I have added a Flow Tab to my Team Channel. When I click on the Flow tab, it says "You don't have any flows". However, I do have some flows already created in the Flow Portal. How can I link my flows so that they can appear on my Flow Tab?Solved4KViews2likes3CommentsAdaptive Cards from Flow bot showing up blank in iOS
Hey there! I've created a flow in Power Automate that, when a new item is created in a specific SharePoint list is created, it posts an adaptive card in a channel in Teams. The card includes a bunch of information from that list, a button link to edit the list item, and another button linking off to some related material. On desktop, each new item on the list creates a new card in the desktop app channel as expected. However, on mobile, this happens: I have the following at the top of my adaptive card: "$schema": "http://adaptivecards.io/schemas/adaptive-card.json", "type": "AdaptiveCard", "version": "1.2", Is it perhaps something with how I initialized it? (I will say that adaptive cards messaged to individual users by Flow bot seem to be working fine.) This is my first post, so please let me know if I've been naughty and this belongs somewhere else. (I see a bug posting area in UserVoice and something called answers.microsoft.com and the difference between these three very similar-seeming areas unfortunately eludes me.)Solved4.5KViews2likes5CommentsMicrosoft Flow: @mention action not working for Teams reply
Hi, I'm currently working on a Flow which should be automatically called when a new mail arrives in a teams channel. This mail is from a facility information service an provides info regarding packages and guests. As there is no specific notification for this mail and so guest could be overseen, I want to add a mention notification to this mail in the channel. I tried with an automatic flow, with the trigger "when a new post is added to a channel" and then a condition with "if the sender from name is "SENDERNAME" is true" then call a "get mention token for a user" action and add this token to the "reply to message in teams" action. But as soon as I add the mention token action my flow ends in errors saying that I "should correct invalid inputs for the condition" and "correct invalid inputs for my reply to message" action. I have no clue why these errors exist, I have access to the team and channel, logged into a teams session in flow and so on. Can anyone help me in there? If infos are needed to solve this, just ask 😉 Thanks and Regards!6.4KViews0likes9CommentsPower Automate Action to add Team members to a private channel
I would like to write a power automate flow that adds new members (not guests) of a team to all private channels in the team. I thought I could do that with Power Automate, but there are no Private Channel actions yet. Will private channel actions be added to power automate later, if yes, about when? Or is there another good way to do this? Thanks in advanceSolved4.6KViews0likes1CommentMS Flow tab doesn't load in Teams
I'm trying to integrate some workflows with Teams. I have created the flows, and they work, they send the proper messages to teams. However, the Flows tab does not seem to work, it just gives me a blank grey screen. This is on both my personal app and the Channel tab. I've tried removing and reinstalling the tabs, but I still just get a grey screen. Would appreciate some ideas on how to fix? Thanks1.5KViews1like1CommentMicrosoft Teams Use Case Suggestions
Hello, I am looking for some advice from Teams experts out there on a specific use case. I work at a K-12 school and we have a tremendous number of events each year—more and more. They can be quite complicated needing different levels of approval and resources from multiple departments. I would like to work on developing a set of Forms and Flows to start tackling some of these approvals and resource assignments. I would like to find a way/place to collect these approval requests that can be reviewed and acted upon by the team of people who handle most of our events. I would like to figure out a way to setup a Teams site for this group with a channel dedicated to collecting the incoming requests and allowing the group to review and approve/reject the requests right from teams. I am visualizing some type of list that you can sort, click on to get more details, and easy access buttons or flags to approve or not. I am hoping something better than a SharePoint list but maybe something new? Or a 3rd party add on? Suggestions? Thanks, Robert1.2KViews0likes1Comment
