[Feature Suggestion] Show update history in Edge
Please show the update history in edge://settings/help lots of spaces left there, it helps to keep track of installed updates on the local machine. only show update history after Edge is installed on the system, not from the beginning of the time. Firefox has this and it's very helpful, specially for insider channel. I only want to see the time and the version number of previously installed updates on my system. you can add a scroll bar to the right side to scroll down/up when the history rows are too many to fit that area. Edge's History has the memory of a goldfish. It has a very limited memory - I keep having to manually find pages using my search engine Edge seems to forget them. The address bar often doesn't suggest pages that I've visited many times before. Perhaps this is to force us to use Bing? I think I read somewhere that it only remembers the past 90 days. Compare this with Firefox which remembers basically ALL history, and the address bar always suggests previously visited pages accurately, even from a year ago, making it quicker and easier to visit pages you use regularly.

Please people, back me up on this. I've asked for this for 6 months now. The History sidebar (not the full page history list). SIDEBAR !! 1. Click on a history list item on the history side bar 2. View the page, now go to the very next page in the list. 3. Repeat 1 and 2 this under your say 'Where I'm I, what was the last item I clicked, I quit'. The last list item you clicked and viewed SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED SOMEHOW. I'm yelling now because no one seems to be listeningYou can now open History page faster

When above yet available, softcopy of Windows 10 Edge is what I need to: select certain sites such as http://xyz.global.abc.com/Shared) extract folder path when History View shows only url; I am extracting it from address bar filter out items incurred by multi-tasking to open un-related Webpages (Viewer not yet capable of filtering) keep record longer than 90 days (current max capacity of Edge) accidental clearing of history Reason for above is to print, then assemble huge process tree of Sharepoint documents (Flowcharts) with external links. I need to trace where I clicked on for each webpage. Turning this feature on will help you find information from your history, favorites, top sites and recent tabs more easily using features such as Windows search box. If you turn off this feature Microsoft Edge will remove the data shared with Windows on the device and stop sharing any new browsing data from this profile. Learn more I'm on the latest Windows 10 insider Dev build and latest Edge insider canary, so far I couldn't see any sign of this feature working, it's very new, just added to Edge canary. so eager to find out more about this. I personally would love to see Edge history appear in Windows 10 timeline, just like Edge legacy's did. It's very interesting, I submitted a feedback for the exact same thing 2 months ago.
How to clear "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge"?
Browser version: Microsoft Edge Dev 90.0.818.0 Operating system version: Windows 10 Dev 21332.1000 Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to "Settings"-->"Privacy, search, and services"-->"Choose what to clear", and open the "Clear browsing data" page; 2. Check "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge", and click "Clear now"; 3. Open the "Clear browsing data" page again and check the option. Expected results: The "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge" item is not displayed. Actual results: The "All data from the previous version of Microsoft Edge" item is still displayed, as shown in the figure:
Search autofocus in History dropdown menu
There shall be searchfield focused automatically when you press ctrl+h or open history dropdown. Like searchfield activates automatically (if you have seatchfield enabled in taskbar) when you press WIN button, so you can start typing immediately without clicking on field. For example I just press WIN and type not and press ENTER: it opens notepad from search. The same behaviour for history menu please! It would be great and handy addition.Searching in Edge web history is only limited to the past few days
When I try to search for a website that was registered in web history in Edge in the past, I can't get any results. Edge's history page doesn't automatically reload past histories to include them in the search this page: edge://history/all needs to be able to actively get older web history entries from our Microsoft account to make the web history search actually practical and useful. not only the past 2-3 weeks, but go back months. sent feedback using feedback button on Edge, if you like the idea i encourage you to do the same, that will act like an "upvote" for this thank youAnyone sees web history in Windows timeline?
I'm only talking about Edge stable users with history syncing on. so people that have history syncing on Edge stable (probably only UK users for now as it's a controlled feature rollout), do you see web history, just like Edge legacy, in Windows timeline? web history don't appear in timeline from insider channels, I'm assuming maybe it only works on stable channel.
