Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU are not working at all, we need help please
We have already paid for yearly renting of the Skype phone numbers we are using for US, AU and these are not working because are not getting redirected after the right settings in place, also the voicemails are not working at all, no settings working at all and after paying there is no one to talk to and report the issue, no email of support, no department of support to send ticket, no phone number, absolutely nothing to provide you support as client for something that you paid and is not working!!! I have tried to adjust the settings based on the forms from the Skype app for windows also from the Skype app for web and I tried both the redirect also the voicemail and none of them working to be setup. So disappointed and we already paid for 1 year in advance for both of them. We need help!
Client-lawyer confidentiality
In the Netherlands, the asylum procedure is going to take place -due to COVID 19- online. Also lawyers should contact the clients through meetings organised by the government, using Skype for Bussiness. Asylum seekers usually do not have phones, tablets or laptops that a capable of setting up our own meeting, and even if they do, the internet connection in the asylum centers is usually of very poor quality. (In an asylum center, few laptops are installed by the government to be used by the asylum seeker) The government is setting up these meetings, but they should not take part in the meeting between the lawyer and his/her client (the asylum seeker). As lawyers, we are worried about client-lawyer confidentiality... can the government record our meeting, even without taking part in the meeting? Can they listen in, 'incognito' to the meeting? Does SKYPE (for Bussiness) have these options?
No way to zoom in/out when someone is sharing screen?
Is there really still no way to zoom in a shared screen in a conference call? Hi everyone, installed Skype v8.72.0.82 on openSUSE Leap 15.2 and I can't change the settings in order to connect to an internal Skype for Business Server 2015 as these stations can't go on the Cloud. Have root and sudo rights and "Tools -> Settings" option is greyed out. Any hints or solutions?
Skype 4 Business can't reply to MS Teams
My organisation uses Skype 4 Business and a partner organisation uses MS Teams. We have open federtaion. Our Partener org can us MS Teams to message us however we can't reply unless we instigate a new message window in Skype 4 Business However we can instigate a messagein S4B and the partner organisation can reply from MS Teams and we can have a conversaton in the same window. Telephony between the clients appears to be working. Is there any guidance out there on this issue?Skype for Business on-prem without Exchange Hybrid - autodiscover configuration?
We completed a migration of all Exchange users to Office 365 several months ago, and we have one remaining Exchange Hybrid server. We have our phone system that is currently Skype for Business (planned to be replaced with Teams in 6+ months), and we want to get rid of the last Exchange server. Exchange is currently providing autodiscover for S4B, and I am looking for guidance on what steps we need to do (and if it is possible) to re-point autodiscover to the S4B Front-End pool so that we can remove the last Exchange Server. I am the only person in my office who has a Mac, and our IT department did not know how to add me to a response group. Hi , im using skype for business for android V 6.27.0.18 on Huawei Mate 9 Pro running android pie 9 "EMUI 9.1.0 " , i was trying to get the option were the android will ask me which dialer i want to use when i want to make a call , even if i try to set the skype as default dialer app i could not , as it did not appear in the list of phone apps installed , seems like android is not recognizing it as dialer . is there is any thing can be done to get the option to chose the skype for business as dialer app ? thanks in advance
Skype for business and Office 365
Hello there, can anyone please give me constructive advise here, I'd really appreciate it . . . I have personal version of Skype install but have been told I need to get Skype for business. I downloaded installation file lyncentry.exe 32 bit, but got error message. So I followed the advice from Microsoft technician given in the link below: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/cant-install-skype-for-business-either-for-32-or/addb3883-a071-4cb4-9b05-68b6d7e58b01 Now when I try to run the installation program I get another error message: "We're sorry MO installer encountered a problem because you have Click-to-Run Installer based Office programs installed on your computer: Microsoft Office 365 - en -us Windows Installer and Click-to-Run editions of Office programs don't get along for this version, so you can only have one type installed at a time. Please try installing the Click-to-Run edition of Office instead or uninstall your other Click-to-Run based Office programs and try installation again".
