Live Event

I don't know how this has been missed by the development team, but I don't know if you're aware that you have assigned the shortcut for the Send Live button within Live Events to be the same as the default shortcut to close all windows on a Mac. Clearly this is a bad idea as it means a producer will be immediately kicked out of the event if they use this shortcut without realising what they're about to do (literally just watched this happen live on air). It might be a good idea to change that immediately.374Views0likes0CommentsTeams Live Event Quality reporting
I am trying to find a way to lookup Quality of Experience on Live Events. I can do it with Meetings or Calls using Teams Admin console, Power BI QER, or Call Quality Dashboard. Today I have had a report that many of the participants of a Live event had freezing. I tried to hunt it down. In Teams admin Center I can only see the live event for two people. In Usage reports and on the users Meetings&Calls tab Can only see the two people who were "Producers" as part of the meeting. It does indicate they have Poor Wifi so that may be part of the issue. But what I don't understand it that every other participant in the Live Event does not show anything at this time in Meetings and Calls. Does it not track participants in Live Events? I tried Power BI Quality of Experience report. That will not even find the Meeting ID at all. I am thinking it filters out LiveEvent calls CQD detailed reports is not breaking it down far enough to the user level1.8KViews0likes2CommentsPreventing anonymous posts in Q&A
I have weekly contact sessions with university students, but have been experiencing problems with some making inappropriate comments (some which are of such a nature that we are in fact required to report them to our legal department). The individuals making the comments are however too cowardly/smart enough to post anonymously so nothing can be done to address the issue. They are also unfortunately quite incessant in their posts which actually disrupts the session as their inappropriate comments need to be dismissed first in order to get to the questions from students who actually have issues. Surely there is a way to ensure that no anonymous questions can be posted and culprits can be identified and removed?1.3KViews0likes2CommentsBug: Restoring a live event not working after chatting
There is a bug in version 1.4.00.16567 on MacOS (11.5.1). When you chat while watching a live meeting, the meeting is minimised to a small floating window. After some clicks, the click handler on that small window breaks, so you cannot restore the video to cover the full teams window any more. Clicking on the video just does nothing. The only options you have then is to make the live event window full screen or minimized to a small window. This should be fixed.1.4KViews1like2CommentsExternal users - specific people and groups - Teams Live event
Dear community, I have a question from the business which I cannot answer using the information on the Microsoft Teams Live Event pages. The question is as follows: Is it possible to select, while creating a Live event, which external users (not without our Office 365 tenant) are able to join the live event as attendee? The option specific people and groups is there, but we are unable to add external users there. So for example when jsmith@example.com is only allowed to join the live event together with internal users, is it possible to so? And if yes, what are the restrictions? For example; does that external user have to be a registered guest within our Azure AD, or does that person has to have a Microsoft account? Thank you all in advance for your help. Dear All, I need help to schedule live event for 10 Days I have question like Can we use the same link for live event as the attendees are same? (Host will change) Can we transfer rights from presenter to producer? We need attendees to fill out registration forms so only those who will fill the form can join. Can we do that? Can we get an attendee list in live event? When is it captured? (During the time we download or how is it) Can I get location or IP address of the attendee? How can I get live on YouTube or Facebook? Hello All, I have set up several Live Events and assigned producer or presenter roles to individuals. When I edit the Live Event to add more presenters, several of the already invited users are showing unknown for their role. In order to save the edits to the Live Event, I must reassign the role to the users. This is not happening to all users just select users. It appears to be the same users that have the issue each time I edit a Live Event. Has anyone else run into this issue? Anyone found a fix?1.1KViews0likes1CommentAdd form to Live Event -->Something went wrong
I'm in the process of setting up a live event using the MS Teams desktop app. I am the "producer" (fully licensed, and also Global Admin for the tenant), but when I attempt to add a Form to the event, I get "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again". I've tried it in another tenant, with the same results. To troubleshoot, I've tried reloading the tab, opening in the browser, clearing cache, removing/re-adding the Form, etc. The tab URL is "Microsoft Forms (office.com)" and that just results in a stuck "Loading" page in the browser. Can anyone else reproduce or get this to work before I resort to submitting a ticket? In a teams meeting or in this case, a teams live event, when I want to share a window, not all windows are visible. In this case there are 4 windows, but only 2 are visible. The scroll bar does not fonction properly so I'm not able to scroll down to see the other windows. This is zoomed 100% (second image). When I change to 85% (first image) the 4 windows I can share are more or less visible. I'm having a live event this week where there are a lot of presenters and windows I should share, so this may not be the solution in that case. Any suggestions?Solved3.6KViews0likes5CommentsLive Event Disable DVR
Is there a way to stop users from being able to rewind/pause during the Live Event? I have tried disabling the "Recording Available To Attendees" but that doesn't seem to be able to stop that DVR functionally. We don't want the users to be able to pause and rewind as it's a live event. Our plan is to hosting a bunch of mini teams meeting after the event is over for each subgroup of the company for socializing. So basically we don't want the attendees to Pause or Rewind so everyone actually ends at the same time. Think of it like Twitch.tv streams not Youtube Live streams where the event is all real time only and the VOD is available at the end of the broadcast. I don't need to keep the recording to Streams functionality if this DVR feature is forced to be on because of the Streams VOD because I can always record the stream locally through OBS and upload my own VOD. Does anyone know of a way to disable that DVR function?2.1KViews1like1Comment
