Meeting Options
8 TopicsMeeting Options are limited
Hello, I have run into a problem of not having a full access to meeting options. I would like to schedule meetings for other people in the office where I do not necessarily have to attend. I would also like to assign other people as co-hosts so that they are able to admit people and have more control of the meeting. There should be settings of being able to let people come in without waiting in the waiting room as well, but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Here is the attached screenshot: These are the only two options I get when clicking "Meeting Options". Additionally, whenever I set up a meeting, some people are not able to respond to it because they get an error of undeliverable response: "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups". What is the issue here? Does it have to do with how Outlook is set up? How can I change these limitations and errors? Thank you so much!18Views0likes0CommentsCo-organizer cannot unmute or share
For a recurring Teams meeting in which I am the organizer, one of my co-organizers was not permitted to to unmute or share during a call where I was not present. We tested the meeting later, together, and even after I joined, the co-organizer's camera, mic and share buttons remained grayed-out, and this co-organizer was listed in my People pane as an Attendee. Here are the Meeting Option settings I have: This person is included in the 'Choose co-organizers' list 'Who can present' is set to 'Only organizers and co-organizers'. 'Who can bypass the lobby' is set to 'People in my org, trusted orgs, and guests'. This person is in my organization (same company). This person joined from their Outlook calendar. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix so that my co-organizers can conduct a meeting that I (as the organizer) cannot join? I would like to know if there is a way, or a way to suggest a feature to promote a presenter (or attendee) to a Co-Organizer once a meeting starts. It appears there is no way to do this (only a way to move an attendee to presenter, or a presenter to attendee). Though foresight would be best, there are cases in which a non-delegated attendee may need to be set to be a co-organizer, to then work to control break out rooms, etc. If anyone knows a way it would be much appreciated. Please Note: I do not need to know how to set a co-organizer BEFORE a meeting. That is already understood. Thank you 🙂701Views0likes1CommentCan't Access Meeting Options
I logged in to the Microsoft Teams application with my work account - guy@madeiradata.com. I then created a meeting, and clicked on Meeting Options. And I got this: "Only meeting organizers can make changes Your account, guy_madeira.co.il#EXT#@microsoft.onmicrosoft.com, doesn't have permissions to make changes."Solved128KViews0likes26CommentsEnable Start Meeting with Recording On
Hi, folks! @TeamsDevTeam, What you all think about this one below? Can you hit that? Hands down, one of the best thing to improve my experience (and of many others too.. be sure of that) with Teams is a feature to start a meeting with recording mode on! Make everything more easily and comfortable to keep doing my job without needs to be worried if I'm recording that call or not, if I've clicked on record button or not. Please, figure it out! Will be an amazing feature! Sorry if I post it on the wrong section. Just say me and I'll fix this. Regards, Willian Victor970Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Teams New Meeting Lobby Enhancement
Microsoft is providing Teams meeting organizers greater control over their meetings by making it possible to require all participants to wait in the lobby. Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 64643 for the below Feature Release. How this is Useful for the Enterprise Users and the Educational Organizations After the above feature is enabled all the guest users as well as the users within the organization will have to wait in the Lobby to start the meeting until the organizer of the meeting arrives. This feature was majorly requested by the Educational Organization wherein Students of the Meeting used to join the meeting before the start of the Class or before the Teacher Joins the Class. Possible Issues with the Feature if this is turned on by Default In case the feature is enabled by default and the organizer of the meeting is not joining the Teams Meeting the meeting will never start and all the participants will be stuck in Lobby. In case the organizer of the meeting is hosting only a Audio Conferencing only meeting, then the organizer will have the punch in the Host Pin for the Teams Meeting to be started and then the participants will be able to join2.1KViews0likes1Comment
