Hi all, Is there a admin role for allowing one user to edit all users contact information only? I have read this. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/admin/add-users/about-admin-roles?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fAbout-Office-365-admin-roles-da585eea-f576-4f55-a1e0-87090b6aaa9d&view=o365-worldwide But it doesn't have one specifically for contact information. Thanks in advance15KViews0likes2CommentsI got this error page "Sorry, but you don't have access to the Teams admin center." why?
Hi, The origin of this problem is that I needed to access Teams admin center which is a part of a solution to a problem I got in Team UI which is missing Calendar application icon. And I couldn't add it from Apps icon in teams UI. So I searched for a solution and I found the solution in this page: Calendar missing in MS TEAMS when I tried to start following the solution, the solution required me to access the Teams admin center and I immediately got this error page: What to do now ?15KViews1like4CommentsDeskless License - What does it do?
Has anyone noticed "Deskless" as an available license under Office 365? I am curious if anyone has looked into what this is for, considering it is available to utilize with all the other Office 365 services instead of how I would think it would be separate. Also, I only see this license in the mobile Admin app, not when licensing someone in the portal. Any information is appreciated. Thank you.Solved13KViews0likes3CommentsCreating an Out of Office for alias added to a primary mail in office 365
A little background on the current setup. A business decision was made at one of the departments at my current job to change the name of their email address. I.E. Old email address was removed for privacy reasons to New email address was removed for privacy reasons for their own reasons. The issue isn't with changing the name, which is easily doable using Office365 Admin but they want to add the alias of Oldname to the New email address removed for privacy reasons again, not an issue. The question Is it possible to somehow, add an Out of Office or Auto Reply to the Old email address removed for privacy reasons after it becomes an alias? They want to still have the ability for people who are sending emails to Old email addresses removed for privacy reasons to not have their emails bounced, instead they would get an auto-reply thanking them for sending their email, advising them that the email has been forwarded to New email address removed for privacy reasons and reminding them that there's a new email address to send their future emails to. If there's a way to do it with a rule or something else, I would rather do that.11KViews0likes1CommentService Health Advisories and Incident notification
I used to rely on the Office 365 Admin app to provide notifications for any Service Health Advisories or Incidents with the Office 365 services. It seems the notifications from the app have stopped working and the advisories and incidents are not up to date. The app hasn't been updated in the App Store for 6 months. I was wondering what other people are doing to be notified of service issues. I'm surprised there isn't a simple email notification system built into the Admin Center at this point. We've been affected by a number of service health issues for Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint over the last few months. Its been frustrating that the first I know of it is from someone contacting our Helpdesk to report it, then I go into the Admin Center and find there is an active advisory or incident affecting our tenant. We do have a SCOM environment and I'm looking into setting that up the Office 365 Management Pack for email notifications.Solved9.2KViews0likes7CommentsMy Admin Centre won't let me log out
I have an O365 business account. I was happily logged in to my admin centre portal until I helped a friend out to show them how to manage aliases and domains by logging in to their admin centre portal. I can log in to my O365 account as normal but since I logged in to my friends admin account I am not able to log out, despite doing the usual - click top right hand corner and select 'Log Out' - it says it has logged out but every time I select Admin in my O365 space it goes back to my friends Admin centre portal. How can I stop this from happening and log in to my Admin Centre Portal?9KViews0likes9CommentsCan anyone mute the organizer in Microsoft teams ?
Hi, I do +30 minutes to 1.5 Hrs sessions in Microsoft Teams but sometimes I think someone may interrupted the session, and I think I faced these issues: 1. I get thrown out the session where everyone else is still in the meeting ! 2. Get muted I have couple questions about this: 1. Could anyone be a source of these problems ? 2. If someone called me through Microsoft Teams, would that cause me any problems in the session ?7.9KViews1like5CommentsCustomizing Welcome message for new user.
Hi, Whenever I create a user from Microsoft 365 admin center, I have an option to email the user of the newly created account and login details which looks like this: But what I want is to customize this automated email with my company logo and information like tutorials and what the user could achieve with the apps provided and the subject of the email sent. Does anybody know how to do this?7.5KViews1like3Comments
