On windows 10, inside the the old Mail app I accidentally clicked the try new outlook toggle and ended up in the new outlook app. I tried it, it required adding of all my emails accounts again. Some I have already lost access due to lost of password but the old email was still accessible in the old Mail app. I tried to toggle it off to return to the old Mail App but after I clicked it, opening the old mail app still opens the new outlook. Now I essentially lost a bunch of my old emails.145KViews5likes57CommentsRemote assistance with Quick Assist is changing

Kimberley Chua, Product Manager on the Word team is excited to share that they've made it even easier to switch between editing, reviewing, and viewing your documents in Word for Windows. Switch between editing, reviewing, and viewing Have you ever been concerned about making unintended changes while reviewing a file written by a colleague? Use Viewing mode and be assured that you won’t be able to type on the canvas while reading the document. Switch to Reviewing mode to turn on Track Changes Just Mine and leave behind tracked changes in the document (or leave comments) when you want to offer suggestions. We’ve updated Word for Windows so you can now easily change between modes with a couple clicks. How it works Open any Word document for which you have edit permissions. Click the Editing button in the ribbon (in the top-right corner, next to the Share button), and then click Reviewing or Viewing to switch to a different way of working with your document. (NOTE: The button name will change based on the selected mode.) Check out the rest of the story on this awesome feature, right here. I am trying to read a datasource (CSV) into Power Query. I keep getting DataSource error saying that it cannot read the file. This happens whether I try using "Get Data" or just editing an existing query so that it points to a different source. An exception occurred: [DataSource.Error] Access to the path '/my/path/to/the/file.csv' is denied. (Session ID: 6cc4c6b5-96d6-4d58-b68a-f20fcab1aa8f) Sometimes, If I make a copy of the file, then I can import that copy. But if I change the name back to what I want it to be named, then it can't connect. It's the same file, just with a different name. Sometimes when I go to Get Data, all the potential choices (ie.. all the CSV files) are grayed out. But if I rename one of the files then that one will (sometimes) not be greyed out and I can select it. But if I change it back to the name I want, then it grays out again. Very frustrating as a simple duplication task (ie. duplicating a query and then adding a different source) has become very hard indeed. Any ideas why this might be happening?17KViews3likes19CommentsNew Outlook - Cannot connect to server
A few of us in the IT Department are trying to preview the new Outlook. When we click the slider the new Outlook launches, sits at the Setting up account for a few minutes, then errors out with "Cannot connect to server". We can get back to the old Outlook by running outlook.exe /safe, but the new Outlook will not connect for anyone even when off our network and no VPN is running. I cannot find any articles that show changes in requirements from the old application to the new one. Anybody seen this issue?Solved17KViews1like11CommentsUnable to edit Outlook Meeting's body text (I'm not the organizer).

Hi, Office Insiders! Peter Frem, a Microsoft Product Manager who helps organizations avoid data leaks and unauthorized access is excited to share that protections to PDFs created with Office apps are being extended. Apply sensitivity labels to PDFs Many organizations rely on sensitivity labels from Microsoft Information Protection to help you classify and protect important organizational data, while also making sure that productivity and collaboration isn’t hindered. Within Office apps, built-in sensitivity labels were previously limited to Office documents. We’re now extending this functionality, allowing you to use these labels to protect PDFs created using Word, Excel, or PowerPoint for Windows. Without requiring any additional configuration from compliance or system administrators, you will automatically be able to assign the source file’s label, marking, and encryption to your PDFs created from supported Office files. How it works 1. To apply sensitivity labels to your document, click the Sensitivity button on the Home tab, and then click the sensitivity label you want. Read more about this in the blog post!
