Finally Edge Chromium for Xbox One?
As per reports Microsoft's Edge Legacy browser is going away by 2021 and will be replaced with Chromium based browser, I would like to get an update on Edge Chromium for Xbox One. Since their Browsers in Microsoft's ecosystem will be replaced with Chromium based browser, what about Edge for Xbox One? Or is it impossible for the Microsoft team to port it into UWP or don't want to give heeds? This is a duplicate of my answers post here. Hello fellow nuEdgers, I'm hoping someone is able to help. New Edge Chromium Won't Even Try To Sync When Edge Chromium (Dev) has open, I click the 'Profile' symbol, and then click 'Sign In' I am immediately presented with the error: We can't sign you in at the moment The Microsoft Edge team has been notified of this issue. Please try again later. Error code: 5, 2, 0 Microsoft Privacy Statement [[OK Button]] Neither Startpage or Google find anything on purely that error code alone (I think Startpage is a layer on Google). Standard build of Edge ( on the first start sign in run through ) gives the same error but with the code: Error code: 0 I am assuming that when there are commas this then means that these are separate errors that are all occurring. I have looked at this potential fix, which I don't think is directly related: Cannot sign-in to Edge with Microsoft Account However there's no description of what this change does to my system, so I'd like to know what that would be ( especially as it's got Admin related stuff in it ) before going on with the fix. I suspect that this is just something with the latest couple of DEV versions ( I've updated edge). Other stuff that I've tried ( all nuEdge installs are the new Chromium based Edge 😞 Second PC, same issue Fresh Windows 10 install Fresh Edge install Version 83.0.478.58 (Official build) (64-bit) Fresh Edge DEV install Version 85.0.552.1 (Official build) dev (64-bit) Different ISP (potential DNS blocking?) Flushed the DNS. ... more will be edited in if I remember / try them If someone is considering responding with base questions ( equivalent to "turn it off and turn it on again" ) can we please assume that I've done the basics here. I will now list any other occurrences of this incident that I find whilst searching for work around the incident myself: "Edge Sync Sign in" - Microsoft Edge Insider (Microsoft Tech Community) more to come I am using language like "incident", "work around", and "fix", in line with ITIL methodology. Best Eliot PS - I hope and pray that Microsoft are working super hard to reverse the choice to paywall syncing to only the expensive 365 accounts (docs) which bizarrely works in Android ;-). However that's not the issue here (but we should have that on all 365 Business licences, as well as free), it's that as soon as you click the 'Sign In' this error occurs. Microsoft Edge Dev crashes on a regular basis unless I'm running it from the Linux terminal

Here's what's going on: When I start Microsoft Edge Dev normally, through a shortcut on Linux, the browser opens fine, and will usually crash ~10 minutes later, or sometimes a few minutes later. I have submitted 1 crash report yesterday, but until this might be fixed, what can I do?
Extension loads late in Edge
I noticed in my Edge browser (ver. 87.0.664.75) that upon browser startup, the extensions loads late. But when I update my browser to version 88.0.705.50, it works fine and the extensions runs on startup. I would like to know what may caused this bug and what upgrade/fixes are made on the latest version that may have caused the fix on this bug? Thanks for answering!
New Features for Collections
Collections are such an amazing feature. I hope you guys will make it complete by adding some features that are really needed for using collections on a daily basis. Some things I believe would help to achieve it's full potential: - Add a website to a collection through it's url (without having to open it and then add current page) - Add groups of tabs to collections - Add window to collection - Move tabs between collections - Search all collections, search in collection - Sub-collections for better organization - Export collections to bookmarks - UI option to change view type inside of collections (make them smaller, show only website icon instead of huge thumbnail) It would be amazing if basically the same features we have for tabs and bookmarks (group, transfer between groups, save window to group, etc) could be in collections. The potential for session management is amazing: sort and manage current sessions, save groups and tabs for later, archive for future reference, restore previous session (all tabs of a similar category), bookmark for easy use. Sessions could eventually be merged with bookmarks given enough development. The workflow would be amazing. Hello everyone, Recently I'm facing a problem with my edge browser. The problem is that I can't open a PDF file on the browser. If I attempt to open a PDF file inside the edge browser it's just re-download the file. This problem was not I have tried switching the PDF options from the settings and on my OS the default PDF file opeaner is the Edge browser. Can anyone hyelp me to fix that issue? Note: My Edge Dev version is Version 113.0.1741.1 (Official build) dev (64-bit) and OS is Zorin OS 16 core. Thankyou.
