Microsoft Teams - Teams pop-up
Dear support Is there a possibility to get a pop-up everytime my colleagues or i post or reply to something within a team (figure 1) in Microsoft teams? There is just a small indicator next to "activity" bell (figure 2), but its easy to miss an important thread when no notification will pop-up. I can turn up and down (or mute) these notifications in Chat which is very convenient, but i haven´t figure it out for team groups. Hello I have a text box where a user must enter a number (price). There are also popup object grouped together. When a user clicks the submit button, the text box should be controlled if there a value there that 1. is greater than a value in a SharePoint list column, and 2, if the column in the SharePoint list is blank, it should check that the value in the text box is greater than 0. If it meets this Criteria, the popup (which contains all the pop up objects) should be displayed (visible). I’m pretty new to this and I went through a few if statemetns and tried to incorporate the update context unfortunately without success. Thank you so much in advance for ur assistance
Sharepoint Login Pop-up appears when opening Outlook
Hello, we are using Sharepoint 2016 and connected it to our Exchange Server via Outlook, so that our contacts in Outlook will also show in Sharepoint. Ever since than we are experiencing a pop-up in which sharepoint asks for credentials to login. Apparently this pop-up will appear multiple times a day, with no option so safe the login data. (please see attached picture) What I tried already: I added the server URL to the Local intranet settings in Windows Internet Options I added the server URL to the trusted sites and selected 'Automatic logon with current user name and password' in custom levels (Internet Options - Security - custom level) Both didn't work, therefore I kindly ask for your support and ideas to solve this issue. [Downloads UI] Legacy UI is used when a download comes from a pop-up window
What is the issue? Edge now uses a modern-UI for handling downloads: an icon on the toolbar, just after the end of the Address Bar, which shows a vertical-list of downloads. However, when a download starts from a pop-up window, such as from the Microsoft Update Catalog site, the old-UI is used instead, which feels a bit inconsistent! Expected outcome That only the modern-UI will be used. Proposed solutions My preferred-solution would be to add a setting into Edge where the user can ask for pop-ups to load into a new tabs, instead of separate windows -- Internet Explorer 11 had such a setting. This would then mean pop-up content gets treated like any-other tab, and so would use the modern-UI. Alternatively, when a download starts from a pop-up window, the parent-window should come to the foreground, and the download then begin in that window. Edge Canary has this option in the appearance settings (controlled feature rollout) "Mini menu when selecting texts in PDFs" is referring to this but notice, it's not just a single toggle button, in fact it's an item of a longer list, or group. also obvious when you look at that part in dev tools. another sign is that at the top it says "Context Menus" yes, plural, more than one. my guess is that more of these bubble/popup style menus will show up soon. the next place is probably going to be Immersive Reader mode, where you don't have to right-click on highlighted text anymore, or keep going up and down to use the toolbar items repeatedly. you just highlight a text and all the available options will automatically be presented to you. it could also hint at customization abilities that might be coming to the regular right-click menu and maybe let us customize each option that appears there, to shorten it and tune it to our needs, since many people, including myself, complained that it's getting too longFeature request: close pop-out chat and/or meeting windows with Ctrl+W
Per the new meeting experience, meetings and calls open in pop-up windows. Double-clicking a chat recipient opens the chat in a pop-up window. We can close these by Alt+F4 of course, but honestly I'd rather stay on home row and press Ctrl+W instead, a classic "close this instance" shortcut that's already used in Microsoft Office applications to close individual documents without exiting the entire program. Please add Ctrl+W as a keyboard shortcut to close pop-up windows. Thank you for the consideration.Video popup suggestion
Well, when need sometimes need watch a stream or a video, usually is only can watch in the main source. Is possible add a "video popup" this can: -Resize -move in any direction -With volume o disable this -Can close any moment, return to the source and can continue (and works with more that 2 sources -Autoclose when end the video -Can works with Youtube and similar channels, Twitch, adult sites and other pages with videos embedded Thanks for your great time mr. (and mrs. too!) developers Is similar to yandex browser feature, but Edge can be better and upgraded
