Projects for Web
4 TopicsNotification not working on projects for the web
Hello! My team of 12 part-time employees and I recently switched from MS Planner to Projects on the web. As they have been updating/combining Planner and Projects we have found we are no longer receiving notifications when a task/project is complete in Projects. We have checked our settings to no avail. Any tips?Solved83Views0likes2CommentsProject for the Web - msdyn_projects statuscode
Hi there I am troubleshooting a filtering issue on our P4TW Power BI Project report. Issue concerns the field statuscode from table msdyn_projects. What does this field represent? Values I see are 1, 2 and 192350002 (which I find quite strange). Is 1 for active and 2 for deactivated projects? Thanks!Solved582Views0likes3CommentsP4W - Max amount of task dependencies within a subtask list
I've run into a limitation where I am unable to select more than 8 dependencies for a single task if they are in the same subtask list. I am able to select the task in question when creating the dependency from a separate task list, and I can import more than 8 dependencies when bringing in a .mpp file (which is what was done in the example below). Any thoughts on a way around this other than creating the full project in desktop an importing it?Solved627Views0likes2CommentsProjects for Web - Incorrect Auto Calc of hours
On Projects for Web - When you enter a % complete, it automatically calculates the Effort Remaining. Conversely, if you change the hours completed and the Effort Remaining, it automatically calculates % complete. But... it's wrong. The Effort Remaining as a % of the total does not equal what it computes as the % complete. The % complete is what drives the hours on the Planner Cards though, and so, what shows on the planner card does not match the hours in the Effort Remaining box in the task details. This is causing confusion and we lack clarity of how the hours are being adjusted. Is there a bug? Or a Admin work around?376Views0likes0Comments
