Are there "shortcut" lists of how to format the original quiz, before importing, so that I can spend less time on creating the form? For example, 1. What is the 3rd planet from the Sun? A. Venus B. Pluto C. Mars D. Earth ANS: D I've noticed that when I import a quiz, the answer is correctly selected if I put underneath my question "ANS: [Letter of choice]" ("ans:" is fine as well) like I did in the example above. This is very helpful in creating quizzes quickly . I wish to know if there is a list of other "shortcuts" for formatting the original quiz document to streamline creating quizzes even further. (In particular, the text I would need to automate putting in feedback after the test is done and graded vs spending time going to each choice and putting in a rationale/feedback.)447Views0likes1CommentShortcuts for importing from Word
Are there shortcuts of how to format a quiz so that I can spend less time on creating the form? For example, I've noticed that when I import a quiz from Word, the answer is correctly selected if I put underneath my question "ANS: [Letter of choice]." Even "ans:" is fine as well. So, for another example, 1. What color is the sky? A. Brown B. Green C. Neon Pink D. Blue ANS: D That will create a question with the correct answer selected. I wish to know if there any other shortcuts for me to streamline my workflow. Like, the feedback option or even if it an "select all that applies" trigger that I can put into a word document to just speed up generating quizzes.407Views0likes2CommentsMS Forms "Schnellimport"("Quick import") - formatting
Hello all I have found a formatting that allows me to convert Word documents to MS Forms via "quick import" quite reliably. 1 field is still missing to my happiness: "Message to those who select this field" (german: "Nachricht an diejenigen, die dieses Feld auswählen") - the one where you can "append" to the single choice options in single - and multiple choice questions. Does anyone know how I have to format my template so that this field is also taken over correctly? Many thanks from SwitzerlandSolved4.5KViews1like7CommentsBranching based on a date of birth
Is it possible to do some branching based on a date of birth? i.e. I ask them how old there are, if they are over 18 then they are good to carry on with the rest of the survey, if not then I need to ask them some additional questions. Is this doable?249Views0likes1CommentQuery Forms API to get scores or results from form submission
Hello All, May be one for the Forms/Dev Community but thought I would try here. We have a process where 4 forms are submitted weekly (Every week has 4 new forms). We currently gather responses into a SPO list and feed that in PowerBI. A new requirement has come in that the forms (which are quizzes) also need to push the scores to SPO. We have done this with conditionals to check the text of the correct answers but the workload for this is unmanageable. I know there is a forms Api (undocumented) and we have successfully queried it to get the quiz questions, but these doesn't seem to be any info in there about the right answer. My question is, is it possible to query the forms API to get the response points, either total or per question? Included is the starting point, just need to know if anyone knows the URI to get what we need.8.8KViews1like18CommentsAdded new questions to existing MS Form but it is not visible at user end
I have created a microsoft form, shared it and had responses. It is still an active form. I have added some extra questions. They are visible in my version of the form but when I share it the users can't see the new questions. Any idea of why this is happening? I've re-copied the share link as well. It is also not showing up in the preview feature. It's happened to a few of my forms and I keep creating new ones but surely there is a solution? Does it have anything to do with scoring? I don't use it but it seems to be there by default. thanks7.7KViews0likes2Comments
