Hello folks: We built an MTR console on a mini pc in our lab to test the rooms. It is connected to a monitor and camera too. None of the devices are in the approved device list of Microsoft but it works. We are able to place video conference calls with it. My question is that how come it does show as an MTR device under the admin.teams portal. We followed the official Microsoft instructions to create the rooms device and user account for it. So I am not sure why we cannot see it. What are we missing here? Thanks,3.4KViews1like5CommentsAny Plans to add this to Microsoft Teams Meeting rooms
Hello I thought I read somewhere that it may be possible for a user to enter a room with a teams enabled mobile device and a Teams certified meeting room device such as a Polycom Trio and it recognize the user and show them as a meeting participant. As I work for a financial institution this would be very beneficial from a few use cases 1) The able to determine a user would help enable certain regulatory needs , such as recording auto-enable for a user that is in a particular group for example Market Traders 2) To secure a meeting room so a person that is not suppose to be in a meeting cant just walk into a room itself and click on join from the in room devices 3) Because its an wow experience , being able to walk into a room and the meeting starts based of the mobile client or other factors and bring the screen live/documents that is needed etc and ready for a meeting in seconds rather than 5 mins that it seems to get a meeting started.1.2KViews0likes1CommentMicrosoft Teams Room Console and Logitech BRIO
I have an HP Elite Slice for Meeting Rooms G2 and bought a Logitech BRIO Ultra 4K and wanted to use this as Room Camera (not Content Camera). So, regarding the MS page https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/across-devices/devices/product?deviceid=37 and also the Logitech page, there is no information about that Logitech BRIO is ONLY and just a content camera. So did I anything wrong, or is the hardware not usable as room camera? bestSolved13KViews0likes3CommentsTeams Room Systems, no sign in with KB4565351
Dear all, yesterday, on our Teams Room Systems KB4565351 was installed, now they can't sign in. If we remove KB4565351, it works fine. Here are some details: Hardware: Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500 Windows: Windows Release 18363.1016 Room System: 4.5.35.0 User (Skype) is located on premise All of our Room Systems have the problem, not only a single device. Any idea? Bye, ChristianSolved4.8KViews1like5CommentsTeams Room System Unable to Fetch Calendar after the update to 4.3.21.0
We are starting to get an issue after the Teams Room System Update 4.3.21.0. error on the display cannot fetch calendar (skype sign in is fine) We did a trace and we don't see anything block from our environment to Microsoft. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? pretty sure because of the update, the rest of our teams room system with the older version is fine.Solved6.3KViews0likes10CommentsMicrosoft Teams Room Version

hi there, i am wondering how the crestron flex UC-C160-T work. as far as i know, these systems consist of a compact win10 pc, connected to a HDMI screen, and a small touchscreen for remote-controlling the teams client. here is a youtube video, showing the setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=As0dY-WEhl0 - i guess the win10 pc is running a teams client. what i dont understand is how the client shows only the videoscreen during an active call, but no buttons, controls, ...? is this a special GUI, made by microsoft for crestron? - the touch screen lists scheduled meetings, and also allows to directly join a meeting or place calls. via which interface does this remote control communicate with the win10 pc (join, mute, call, ...)? is there some 'hidden' interface which allows to remote-control the zoom client? thx for any input! hari2.7KViews0likes0CommentsTeams Rooms
There are some good answers to questions on here already that got me close to understanding teams rooms, but I have a few specific questions I can't seem to gather answers for yet. Using without a certified room system: For a "Room" is it possible to set up some custom hardware to act in the place of a "Room System"? Really the entirety of the need is a device that is internet connected, and can connect to some video/audio equipment, and run the teams app. I suspect this is not possible, but it's pretty much the deal-breaker for us. Room systems are crazy expensive, and we would basically like to "hack it" with something like a tablet/conf room computer and some peripheral devices! Can the "Room License" be used outside of a proper certified room system? Audio conferencing call-in (normal phone number): It seems like this is possible, to license audio-conferencing to ONLY the teams room "user" and allow 3rd parties to call in via phone, but I don't fully understand all the pieces needed to get that working. What kind of licensing is needed? Even some pointers on documentation to read might help me a lot, though I have been sifting through most of it I can find. Thanks in advance.3KViews0likes2CommentsSkype Room System shows calendar info but can't sign in
We have 2 Logitech SRS systems that we are testing before a wider rollout (over 70 in total) We have one kit working perfectly, but the other gives an error saying: "We can't sign you in because the server couldn't be reached" However, it does pick up the meeting info for anything the room account has been invited to To me, both room accounts, hardware, network and build (1703/3.0.16.0) are identical so I can't see why this one device is failing? I've tried using both the working room account and a normal user on the device but it has the same issue. I can also sign in to the Windows Skype for Business 2016 client using the room account Any pointers as to where I should look? I've sent myself the logs using the "Give Feedback" feature but not sure what I should be looking forSolved14KViews0likes13Comments
