4 TopicsAVD Re-join AzureAD / EntraI
Hi everybody, I have an issue that I accidently did a "dsregcmd /leave" on my Azure Virtual Desktop machine. The environment is Cloud Only so I don't have an Active Directory onprem. As today everything worked good but I had to move the AVD to another subscription. The login for the users didn't work anymore so I tried differtent things and the last one was the dsregcmd /leave. One of the worst decicions of my life. Does anybody have an idea how I can rejoin this VM back to Entra without creating a new VM? There are several applications with many custom changes so that a new VM would be the worst. I tried dsregcmd /join /debug which ended in error code DsrCLI: logging initialized. Cannot start Task: 0x80041326 Failed to schedule Join Task. Error: 0x80041326 DeleteFileW returned 0x80070002. I tried dsregcmd /forcerecovery /debug which ended in the error code CAA50024 and DsrCLI: logging initialized. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: DsrGetJoinInfoEx returned no join information. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded: Forcing return of S_OK instead of S_FALSE. DsrCmdRecovery::DetermineIfRecoveryIsNeeded returned 0x00000000 (NEED RECOVERY). DsrCmdRecovery::NotifyUser returned 0x00000000. The command az vm extension set --publisher Microsoft.Azure.ActiveDirectory --name AADLoginForWindows .. gave me an feedbach with "Succeeded" but did't change anything. How can I rejoin this device to Entra so that the users can login with their Entra Identities again? Because it is a multi-session-AVD I don't have the options to join this device to entra in Settings > Accounts..... I hope someone can help me with this problem.Solved716Views0likes3CommentsTeams meeting button missing in Outlook
Hey all After installing Teams on my Session host (w10 multi-session) it seems like Teams Meeting button is missing from Outlook. I researched this issue and it appears to be some regedit keys that's necessary for this behavior. I have uploaded a picture of my HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\TeamsAddin.FastConnect Which is set to 3 but i still don't have the teams meeting button in Outlook. I noticed that under "add-ins" in Outlook, i have a section called "inactive addins" and Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office is appears there. I have tried turning it on, which makes the button appear. BUT!, after i myself or my users restart Outlook. It disappears again... I installed Teams via per-machine via Powershell 'ALLUSER=1' Can anyone please, help me with this issue?90KViews0likes7CommentsSession count discrepancy
Hi, We have a host pool with two sessions hosts. They are set to a maximum limit of 4 sessions each and depth-first. A user with the same UPN and session number shows up twice in the session list. Azure was counting this as two separate sessions. Since there were two other users on, this added up to 4 sessions and new connections went over to the other host. Looking at the Session Hosts view shows this machine has 3 active sessions rather than 4 so it does seem to know that one is duplicated. Would anyone know what would cause the same user to show up as two different sessions? Thanks.4.4KViews0likes10CommentsIs the "Remote Desktop" software needed in session host servers?
When I created a host pool I noticed the "Remote Desktop" client is installed in the servers. Is that done automatically? Is it needed? Should I update it? Will it disconnect people if I update it? Thanks for any adviceSolved1.5KViews0likes4Comments
