It appears the Surface our SRS (V2 I believe) only updated to Windows 10 1607 yesterday, which is now causing the error "Skype-mrx:// class not registered" when the Skype Room System tried to load. We cannot restore or uninstall the update, or see a way to upgrade to 1703 as Windows only tries to upgrade to 1709, which appears to be unsupported currently. Does anyone know if there is a way we can resolve this error?6.6KViews0likes6CommentsSkype Room System - Cannot fetch calendar
Hi, We have a about a dozen Skype Room System units (both the Surface and Lenovo Hub 500) deployed in our environment, installed with SRS version 4.0.64.0, Windows version 10.0.16299.785 and they all have the error message "cannot fetch calendar". Some background history: This message appeared during a Exchange on-prem -> cloud migration, and was expected because of our autodiscover records still pointing to the on-prem server. It was also expected that it would be fixed by itself once we updated our autodiscover records to point to the cloud, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. We are currently running on a Skype for Business 2013 server on-prem, and Exchange Online (hybrid) Troubleshooting: I first thought this was autodiscover related, because of what i mentioned above. I have tried to manually add the cloud autodiscover server to the hosts file a few of the systems, that did not help. Further step was checking that the licensing in Office 365 is ok, all accounts have E3 license. Installed Office 365 proplus on a few of the systems, to check if sign-in to to a normal desktop version of SFB worked and it did. The SFB client read the calendar and everything worked as it should. Created a new meeting room account in the cloud Re-installed one of the systems (worth a shot) Now, if i try with a room mailbox account only existing on our on-prem server, it works. I have looked through many SRS articles here with the same problem, and i noticed someone mentioned that it was ADFS related, but i am not sure where to look. At this point i am lost, and am hoping one of you brilliant people could help me out. Also, happy new year!11KViews1like10CommentsIssue - Skype Room System external display
Hello, I'm currently having some issues, we have a logitech group system, with the LenovoSmart display, and in the smart display even though it shows the scheduled meetings, it doesn't populate the meeting name, instead it shows the name of the person who created the meeting, twice. Any way to fix this ? Thanks in advanceSolved1.4KViews0likes5CommentsSkype Room System v3 - wireless Display
we are planning to roll out some SRS to our Meeting Rooms. Actualy we use microsoft wireless display adapter in our rooms to connect to the beamer, now we would like the same functionality on the SRS box. Is there any possibility to use Miracast (like the Windows Connect App) to share a remote screen in SRS? We tried to add a microsoft wireless display adapter to the HDMI In Port of the Logitech Smartdock but it does not work, the display remains blank. We're running Skype Room Systems v2 and by design, when someone book a conference room with SRS and marking it as Private, the meeting is set to Private Meeting on the SRS dashboard as expected. This is important since conference rooms are often in more open/public areas and meeting subjects sometime can reveal sensitive information. However, if any user press Join (which can be done hours prior to the meeting), either by intent or by mistake, the SRS systems opens up the meeting and reveals the meeting subject, even if the meeting is marked as Private: This can't be right! Get-CalendarProcessing setting -RemovePrivateProperty $false so that is correct. I suspect that Exchange is all set but when SRS joins the meeting, it shows the Skype for Business Online meeting subject and there's no functionality to have this "private". Any ideas/comments or is this something that simply has to be fixed in SRS?1.6KViews0likes6CommentsSRSv2 Calendar Issue only on Lenovo SmartHub 500 system
Hi All, We have an issue with one of our clients Lenovo SmartHub 500s and getting a Cannot Fetch Calendar issue. Here is the background: Room account created correctly Logs into Skype for Business on the unit just not Exchange Account is on Skype for Business Online Account is on Exchange Online (Hybrid) Exchange 2010 SP1 server on-premise Account works on Logitech SmartDock device in another location Other accounts that work on Logitech SmartDock don't work on Lenovo Lenovo moved to Logitech SmartDock location and the same issue From this we have ruled out: Account creation issues DNS issues Outlook 2010 SP1 being in the Autodiscover loop Network connection issues So currently we are looking into the OS/Applications on both devices to see what the major difference is. The Lenovo's come with IoT pre-installed from the factory and the Logitech are self installed with Windows 10 Enterprise so they are very similar although IoT is another name for LTSB so maybe a little outdated with feature updates but that should be the main difference. Does anyone out there have any advice for moving forward? I can't see anything in the release notes for this issue so assume it hasn't been found before. The error logs don't show anything interesting about the Exchange part at all. Thanks, DanSolved3.9KViews0likes6CommentsSkype Room Systems App - force update
How do I force update the Skype Room System app? If I let the device sit over night it will update but need to force update on demand. I've read that it's possible to update from the Store but I haven't been successful finding the app and updating. Is there a documented procedure?3.3KViews0likes2CommentsSRS V3 Logitech SmartDock and HDMI Video, Audio issues when hosting screen sharing from dock to TV
We have been doing a PoC with Logitech's SmartDock Skype Room System (SRS 3.0.15.0 on W10 1703, October 2017 firmware on the dock) and have experienced an issue with video and audio quality degradation as soon as screen sharing is enabled on the SRS in the meeting with HDMI video input from a laptop. We can reproduce the issue whenever connected to a Samsung smart TV using HDMI, or DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, and 55" (UN55MU7000FXZC) or 65" TV models (UN65MU6290F). If screen sharing is not from the SRS (i.e. if it is from another meeting participant) there is no issue. Single display or dual display makes no difference. The issue does not occur when we use: a Benq LCD projector; or, a second SRS room, an LG commercial TV with the same software. We have been unable to get an explanation for why this is happening so far. It seems the recommended models from Logitech are all commercial TVs which is somewhat limiting. This is what we have received from Logitech: "Here is a list of the displays that we and Microsoft have found to work properly. 70” Sharp Aquos 208U1406031 65” SMART SPNL-6000 or SBID8065i-G5 ELO EL4201 55” Samsung DB55E HP Compaq L2105TM 3M, Product: M1866PW Model: 98-0003-3726-5 LG Flatron 55WT30MS-B We have not kept an accurate list of failing displays, but do know that the following are failing: 55” Sony XBR-55X850D Insignia models Some Samsung models."6.8KViews0likes7Comments
