How to get the highest value PER name in list?
I have a list of names. A person can appear several times in column a. Column B has the check in time (all different for each name instance). Column C has the check out time (again, all different). How can I request the earliest and latest check in/out time per person? (Column C and D) This data is for one day.
Pivot table - Median - transposition of column
Hi, I have a pivot table which contains rows Destinations (countries). Every country has number of different Rates (in currency). Rates are also in rows (because otherwise - if i put it into values - there will be 1 sum instead of 4 different numbers for example). I need to have a table which has in every row different destination and every destination contains all the Rates for this particular country to be able to count modus and median afterwards. How do I group rows in an excel table?
I'm creating an excel table to keep a tab of patients' payments made on their visits. The problem I am having is that some patients have multiple visits so they have multiple rows in the table, but I don't have their name listed repeatedly. So for example, their name is listed in A1, and their visits are listed in D1 and D2, but their name is not listed again in A2. When I try and sort or filter the table, only the visit listed in D1 gets sorted with the patient name. How do I get these grouped together to where if I sort alphabetically, the multiple visits (rows) get sorted too? I have included a picture of the problem. Thank you!
