Tasks
5 TopicsEditing multiple entries in Planner, e.g. using a quick edit view, a fill handle or the like
There should be a way to quickly edit one property of several tasks in Planner - for example setting a due date. What I have in mind is the fill handle in Excel or the Quick Edit View in SharePoint task lists. As far as I know, this is missing (also see answers below). If so, it seems to me to be a small but highly significant feature request. Regards Jo48Views1like2Commentsissue with comments - the group isn't set up to receive messages
There is an issue for all of our M365 users with using Tasks by Planner and To Do in Teams. We use M365 with Exchange Online and Teams licenses. We create tasks in Teams. Each task has a comment box where text can be entered. When a comment is created, the user receives an e-mail with the error message: the group isn't set up to receive messages from user's email address It looks like an authorization problem, because comments fail for each user, even the creator of the task. On the other hand the app Planner shows a hint that a new user interface for Planner will be available shortly. Any help is appreciated.1.9KViews0likes6CommentsTrack assigned tasks to others (by me)
Is there a filter or view where you can see all the tasks where you are the creator but not the task-assignée? For example: i create a task that I delegate and want to follow-up somewhere (i.e. track)? Feel's like creating tasks for others now is a bit of a black hole experience in regards to for example what's possible in Outlook. Or is the 'Tasks for Planner' tool not the right tool for this? Any links to other posts that have similar topic also welcom (did search but didn't find quickly anything relevant)Solved3.3KViews0likes5Comments% Complete in Planner Graph API?
I've been exploring the Planner Graph API and Planner Flow Connector for some integration work we have planned. There is a "percentComplete" attribute exposed via both connections. How is the value of this attribute computed, given that Planner does not expose this attribute for manipulation via the UI? Trying to figure out if this is something I can leverage, or if I need to build something separately to track progress. I keep getting these emails telling me that my tasks are overdue. When I click the links in the emails I am being told that "This plan is not available. The plan may have been deleted, or you no longer have access to it." So through this email I have no way to stop the notifications coming, or edit the task itself. So my next step was to go into Teams and open the Planner overview there, and then group by Plan to see where these were coming from. The tasks display below the plan title "Former plan". The tasks themselves cannot be accessed from here either. Clicking the task gives no details - no popup details form open at all. The task title actually displays as a link, giving a cursor click hover action, but clicking does nothing. The only options available are to check the 'done' check box in this view, or click the three dots and delete the task from the view. So main question - how to stop notifications coming from plans that are no longer active, ie. 'former plans'? And - If the plan is no longer active, why are the tasks showing to me at all? I would think a deprecated Plan means deprecated tasks...?2.9KViews1like1Comment
