Teams App
26 TopicsCalls from Microsoft Teams App compared to Teams web app
Hello Bit of a tricky one but I believe it maybe a network issue. I have a situation where the client calls a business contact, goes through to an IVR, press's the required selection and after getting put through to the agent all audio drops from the call. Strange aspect is, if you make the call with the Teams app, it works, make it with the Teams web app and it fails (I have tested this by calling from two numbers that go over completely separate carriers). I have captured network logs and can see a continuous stream of UDP so I know the call is not failing, it seems the audio process is being dropped when being routed through the webb app. Has anyone had this before or would know the difference route/process a teams app phone call makes to a teams web app? I believe it is probably a network issue on the B Party side, but as with most calls, proving that is half the work. I am going to do my own research but not come across clear yet, if anyone has anything to add that would assist in this I would be grateful (as well as if I come up with the answer I will put this down as it is an inconvenience for the client).22Views0likes0CommentsTwo questions about sign-out of Teams app
We have each PC in each conference room that is used for Teams meetings. Each conference room PC has its own teams account which is kept as logged in to Teams app so that anyone can start and join to web conference without laptop PC. This works fine. However, Teams app sometimes automatically signs out. So we have two questions. 1. Sign-out action is logged in somewhere? Can we find it in admin center or other place? We would like to know whether someone operated Teams app and signed it out manually or not. 2. If anyone did not operate Teams app and sign it out, what setting causes Teams app automatically sign out? Thank you.47Views0likes2CommentsWhen screen sharing people see black screen
Hi, I had Thinkpad laptop and was using additional monitor on and off without any issues and suddenly since 2-3 weeks, when I am trying to share my screen, people are just seeing black screen. This is with both option i,e. when using laptop alone and also with additional monitor. Note there were no issues earlier. Last weekend, I got a new laptop which is MS Surface 3, and after installing all MS apps on this machine, I am having the same issue. This is without any additional monitors. This is causing issues for me and my team and would appreciate quick resolution. Thanks and Regards, VirenSolved185KViews3likes52CommentsHow to delete custom teams app from Team App Store?

Decisions App installed in Teams native is not showing up in iOS Devices . Tons of our users are not able to see nor access it anymore on their iOS phones. And it's been a blocker for iOS users. We tried Reinstalling/ Resetting the Teams App but it didn't help. The issue still exits. I'm using activityFeedNotification graph api to send push notification to the users of our teams tab app from backend using nodejs. The notification is sending successfully in both teams desktop and mobile client but we're not getting the data assigned to subEntityId in mobile client(In desktop client and browser we're getting it). We are encoding the data(object) and assigning it to the subEntityId in context object from our nodejs application. Then in teams client, we get that data from teams context using microsoft teams sdk and redirect user to the respective page in our application based on whatever data we get in subEntityId In desktop, deeplinking is working perfectly but in android client, we're not getting any data in subEntityId. It is just opening the homepage of our tab app but I need to redirect user to specific page based whatever data is assigned to subEntityId. Below I've provided how we're encoding the data and assigning it to subEntityId. Server Side Code: const context = encodeURIComponent( JSON.stringify({ "subEntityId": { "type": "PROGRAM_PROFILE", "program_id": "12345", uid: uuidv4(), } }) ); const body = { topic: { source: 'text', value: notificationTopic, webUrl: `https://teams.microsoft.com/l/entity/${TEAMS_APP_ID}/index?context=${context}`, }, activityType: 'commonNotification', previewText: { content: notificationSubtitle, }, templateParameters: [ { name: 'title', value: notificationTitle, }, ], }; const url = `https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/users/${userId}/teamwork/sendActivityNotification`; await axios.post(url, body)); Client Side Code: const context = await app.getContext(); console.log(context?.page?.subPageId); // getting undefined Any kind of help is appreciated!740Views0likes0CommentsSharing using mobile and computer calling
Hello. I'm having an issue in Teams when sharing the screen. I'm using my cell phone to chat and I put the share on my computer. It works in a few seconds and the share connection drops, but the call still works. I made some settings like Compatibility Mode, clear cache and reinstall. Could anyone help me with anything I can do to resolve this?1.2KViews0likes2CommentsKalender Pro in Teams nicht erreichbar
Vielen Dank.1.2KViews0likes1CommentTeams Webinar Feature availability in Business Plans
Hello, I just like to know if anybody has the Teams Webinar Feature available already with a Business Standard plan? According to Microsoft, this is what they stated here: These new capabilities will be available in Microsoft 365 E3/E5, Microsoft 365 A3/A5, and Microsoft 365 Government G3/G5 plans. Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Microsoft 365 Business Premium plans will include all the features above for up to 300 attendees. And for the rest of 2021, we are offering a promotional period where all Teams users can try the features with their existing subscription. Please visit the Microsoft 365 roadmap and Microsoft Docs for additional feature details and availability. As I only have a Business Basic plan, I opted in for a Business Premium plan with the free trial. Unfortunately, I do not have the Webinar feature available with that plan. My Business Standard trial has been expired, so I could not test with this plan. With what they announced above I even would have expected that the feature will be offered for Business Basic users too for free, at least until the end of the year. I did also signed up for a trial of the E3 plan, with that, I can see and use the Microsoft Teams Webinar. However, to me, the plan is oversized and too expensive (I'm not saying that it is not worth the money - but I do not need all these features and options). I'm just looking for the cheapest way to get the Webinar feature, which would be Business Standard. So again, please can somebody else with a Business Standard Plan let me know if he or she has the Microsoft Team Webinar Feature available (or even with a Basic)? Also statements if you do not have the feature but you are owing a Business Standard would be helpful. If you have the Webinars, can you please also state in which region your tenant resides? Many thanks in advance. Cheers YogieSolved18KViews2likes17Comments
