Way to integrate a website in Microsoft Teams and have an icon in the main menu
Hi everybody, we are using simple Jira Cloud Service Management ticketing system. We have created a simple Help Desk website where the customers can create their tickets and report the issues to Jira Service Management Cloud project. I have a lot of question can we, or is it possible to integrate the Help desk website in Microsoft Teams? I know this is possible by adding a website to a channel tab, but the users wnat to have an icon (shortcut) on the Microsoft Teams main menu. Is it possible to create a simple Microsoft Teams app which opens a website in a browser (or integrated in Microsoft Teams) so they can have an icon in the main menu? Is it possible in any other way? This is a useful feature that LastPass has. this would prevent from creating multiple duplicate entries in Edge password manager and also manage logins more efficiently. in LastPass it's called Equivalent domains, the description says: "Add domains that use the same login service. We've already listed popular sites that use shared credentials across domains under their control. For example: amazon.com and its local variations, or gmail.com and other google products." it's pretty clear, instead of saving 2 password entries for Facebook.com and Messenger.com , we use the same set of username and password for both websites. this also makes it easy when user changes password for one website, because the other one will be updated automatically. here are more real and important examples: a bit hard to share it through Edge feedback and also keep the proper formatting but i'll try. So I just visited an article on Windows Central website and it looks like this https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-os-development-schedule-changes This is Edge insider Version 80.0.315.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) however, it looks like this on Edge classic Websites are detecting my current theme in Edge insider Canary which is really good, and show me the relevant style of their sites. when I set the theme to Light in Edge insider settings, that website's theme also switches to white, without the need to refresh the page or restart the browser. I hope more websites react to this.
