After applying these two updates, my headphone's audio stopped working. I highly suspect this is related to the recent update, since I was listening audio for the whole afternoon, and after applying the updates in the evening, it stopped working. Meanwhile, I did not install any other software. My headphone is functioning properly (tested on the phone), and the headphone's microphone is functioning on laptop (tested in a recording software, so the 3.5mm interface should not fail). The headphone's audio can be detected in the control panel, but testing it does not output any audio. I could provide more information if needed. Update: Tested on a Fedora 38 usb boot image, the audio works properly, thus the hardware part should have no issue.444Views0likes0CommentsWindows Update took too long to finish
Hello. As of now I'm updating my PC and it's still not finish yet, it's stuck on the loading screen. I don't know how many times I experienced this but I can't install the latest updates on my PC these past few weeks because of this, it's always stuck on loading screen after restarting. Please help, what should I do? The "orange" on the Windows Update symbol is now "red".452Views0likes0CommentsIs it possible to update provisioned apps via command line? (e.g.: During OSD)
TL;DR: Via command line, is it possible to trigger all provisioned apps to self update for all user profiles (current and future) even when no one is logged in? We recently noticed that on freshly imaged machines, all of the built-in provisioned apps (Calc, Calendar, Weather, Microsoft Store etc.) are woefully out of date. In reviewing our Task Sequence we used to start the "Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\Automatic App Update" scheduled task, but it appears this scheduled task has disappeared. This is disappointing as we no longer know what command it was executing to trigger the updating of those apps. That said, is there anything that can be done to force all provisioned apps for all user profiles, both those that currently exist and future ones as well?1.1KViews0likes0CommentsFile Explorer takes 4-5 seconds to open after updating windows to version 20H2.
File Explorer takes 4-5 seconds to open after updating windows to version 20H2. Tried running system file checker. Didn't work. It's really annoying. Update: After trying few solutions from other sources, I have restored my Windows to previous stable version.2.1KViews0likes4Comments
