We use office365 in our organisation and often send teams meetings through outlook. Someone has forwarded our invite to a group of people that should not be invited to the meeting or have access to the Teams call/chat. How do I remove them from accessing the recording or chat without restricting other people?3.8KViews0likes6CommentsUser has access to SharePoint files for a team channel she's not a member of
We have a team with several channels. A couple of these channels are only open for a subset of this team. This means that not all team members can see or access these channels. Today, one user who's not a member of these channels discovered something: - She was in a file folder for one of the teams she IS a member of - She chose "Open in SharePoint" - She was then taken to the same file folder in SharePoint - She then chose Documents in the left side menu in SharePoint - She could now see the file folders for ALL channels, even the ones she doesn't have access to inside Teams. Is this normal behavior between SharePoint and Teams? If so, that is a huge security fault. Or is it a setting I can set to prevent this?Solved5.4KViews0likes7CommentsSample Apps not listed in available apps, but are allowed via Teams admin center
Tenant is GCC. The Power Apps sample apps are allowed in the Teams admin center, but are not visible to users in org under app catalog. Also, Teams admin center cannot see these apps listed in the available apps for pinning to sidebar. Sample Apps were available up until just about a week ago. I feel this is a Teams issue and not a Power Apps/Power Platform issue. What could have changed to cause this?752Views0likes1CommentChild Channel Only Access
What I would like to do is setup a parent channel for the project admins and child channels for each of their projects where their customers can communicate, post and edit files as needed. Is it possible to restrict the project customer access to just their child channel and not the parent channel while remaining in Teams?Solved915Views0likes2CommentsBrowser and desktop app not showing a new team that I am a member of
I create a new private team today and added some users to it. They said that it doesn't show up in the list of teams in the browser (Edge or Chrome) nor in the desktop app. I tested it with a test user and had the same experience. I deleted the users and re-added them as members. That didn't work. I deleted them and generated a code and had them use it. It appeared briefly but when I refreshed the browser, it disappeared again. It is not hidden. Anyone experienced this? Anyone have any idea what is going on?Solved90KViews1like9CommentsRoom scheduling and access to chat
When using room scheduling, where the link to the Teams meeting is in that invite, would the recipient also get access to the chat? We know there is an option to only give invited guests access to the chat when setting up a Teams meeting. I need to understand if there is an additional step that our staff would need to do to restrict that chat access. Thanks! Jim1.7KViews1like3CommentsSharaing of resources

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I would like to use teams but when i try to log in then I get the message attached (see screenshot file). I am the only person in my company (sole director/employee of energy consultancy) so whatever is wrong is something I have created but I have no idea what I have done. I have tow email addresses that I use for microsoft. One i use for my exchange package and the other is linked to my 365 account. they are not different on purpose, I seem to have just messed up with which one I have used when signing up to things. My other email address allows me to login to teams but says I am a guest of my clients account (they had invited me to join their teams board as a guest last year) and doesnt allow me to change anything at all. Where could I possibly look to find out how to fix this as I cannot log into team without it being fixed.1.8KViews0likes2Comments
