Data Extraction and Manipulation
Right. So I have been trying to achieve the following; Extract Key Data from a structured PDF > Push this Key Data into a Word/Excel document I can get parts of this process to work. Copilot seems pretty good at extracting data from PDFs and Excel files etc, it will show me the correct data in the chat. BUT when I ask it to push this into a pre-existing word template it just doesnt work. The best result I had was when Copilot added the Key Data to the end of the Word doc. Not what I wanted but not a million miles off. Its also fine with putting this into a new word document. So it feels like Copilot has all the functionaility required but just wont combine this with using a pre-existing word/excel template. I even tried content control boxes. For some context, this sort of thing (basically copying pasting data from one doc to another) is incredibly time consuming and there is a LOT of this in my industry. Hoping that there is a way to achieve this, even if it means multiple steps etc! 🙃
Issue in Days Function

Now, If I am using the "DAYS" Function to calculate the number of days between two dates. Suggest me Which Function should I use to get the correct answer. I am Looking forward to your guidance. Such a disappointment
One of my team members recently left, and with a critical meeting coming up next week, I had to step into the role quickly. I thought MS Copilot could assist with updating Excel and PowerPoint, but it turned out to be a mistake. I asked Copilot to replace all instances of "2024" with "2025," but it replied that it couldn’t perform the task. Next, I requested it to analyze a pivot table to identify which rows were subtotals and apply the same formula to other columns in the sheet. Instead, it suggested irrelevant adjustments to unrelated columns. I expected these tasks to be straightforward for MS software, but Copilot struggled with them. Honestly, it feels less efficient than a simple "Ctrl+F" and "Replace All."
3way Match- PR, PO, Receipt and Invoice
Hi folks, I have 10 worksheets, is it possible to use Excel or even Copilot to assist here. I have 10 excel worksheets in a workbook with raw data from PR, PO, Receipts and AP. Is it possible to have you relate the tables using a unique field (of our choice), and you create for me a new worksheet with 3-way match between PR, PO, Receipts and AP data. Is this possible for you to do?
Excel Connector Issue in Copilot Studio for Agent using SharePoint as Knowledge Source
I am creating a declarative agent in Copilot studio to easily access information from my team's SharePoint site. However, I am having issues with the excel connector. I receive the error message below when asking copilot a question relating to the excel file. "Error Message: The connector 'Excel Online (Business)' returned an HTTP error with code 404. Below is a screenshot of the inputs I am using. Any ideas on what is causing the issue/why the excel file is not recognized?Copilot not loading in desktop Mac Excel
When trying to load the Copilot sidebar in the Mac desktop version of Microsoft Excel Version 16.91 (24111020), all I get is a loading animation (see screenshot). I've got a Microsoft 365 Subscription, and Copilot for Microsoft 365 license. Copilot works fine in Word. The document I'm working with is saved in a SharePoint team through my OneDrive app, and is formatted as a table.
