Hi, I have an old PC currently running Windows 11 22H2 and want to update it to 24H2. The issue is that this PC is not fully supported by Windows 11 as the CPU is unsupported and does not have TPM 2.0 chip. There is no update received on my computer so I have to install Windows 11 24H2 manually on this unsupported PC. By the way, it could be great to keep the apps and personal files. So I prefer an in-place upgrade to 24H2 other than clean install from USB drive. Is there any in-place upgrade solution to update Windows 11 22H2 to 24H2? Much appreciated if you could let me know how to do that. Thank you115Views0likes6CommentsLaptop Keyboard Becomes Inactive After Re-Boot
I have a 2021 Legion/Lenovo laptop. After installing new Windows 11 updates my laptop keyboard becomes unable to type. I took recommendations I found online and discovered that going to "Device Manager" I could un-install my keyboard. I did so uninstalling both listings under keyboard. I re-booted my computer and my keyboard began to work again. This problem re-appears after every Shutdown now. Is there a way to permanently fix this issue? I should not need to purchase a new computer because of this. Best, Timmo24Views0likes1CommentHow can I bypass Windows 11 system requirements for version 24H2 on unsupported PC?
I heard it is totally possible to bypass Windows 11 system requirements and install Windows 11 on unsupported PC. But it seems most of the tricks does not work for Windows 24H2. When I tried to upgrade my PC from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro, it says: This PC doesn't currently meet windows 11 system requirements. The hardware specs of my PC: Intel i7 4770 8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM 256 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro UEFI BIOS Secure Boot As far as I know, the CPU is unsupported by Windows 11 and the PC does not have TPM 2.0 chip. I am looking for a simple way to bypass Windows 11 requirements so I can install and run Windows 11 on this unsupported hardware. P.S. I already downloaded the latest Windows 24H2 ISO from Microsoft on my computer. Thanks188Views0likes8CommentsComputer shows different characters than typed
I have a problem that occurs sporadically on my Windows 11 computer. I will be typing along and random characters will show instead of what I typed. The same problem will occur simultaneously with my built-in laptop computer and my extra keyboard. I then have to restart the computer to get it working properly again. My keyboard settings are all for English (U.S.) only. The problem occurs in all applications at the same time. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this and how I can troubleshoot it? I would appreciate any assistance.11Views0likes0CommentsWhat is the best dvd ripping software for Windows 11/10?
Hi all, My dad has dozen of DVD movies and personal videos. Some of them already got scratched heavily. Fortunately, they are still working when connected to a DVD player. My dad asks me to take a backup of the DVDs on a digital storage on a computer or external hard drive. I tried the built-in Windows Media Player but it won't allow me ripping the DVD discs. Can some one recommend the best dvd ripping software that still works in 2025 on Windows 11? It seems most of the free ones no long work and no update for years. It's a simple concept, but 1 month using Windows 11 was enough to get this idea. As 11 is still a transition from what we had in Windows 10 to something more modern, a lot of old, classic or 'legacy' things ended up being hidden, taking twice as much work to access. And since I like the design of the new menu but miss the amount of items from the old menu, this might be a good interim solution.12Views0likes1Comment
