similar to this one but on an enterprise estate using edge stable as opposed to being an insider https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/discussions/edge-downloads-are-not-completing/m-p/4005963 I have replicated this on edge stable beta and dev i've also restarted / refreshed the browser - same issue exists afterwards and no new policies have been rolled out.3.2KViews1like18CommentsOfficial Download links for Microsoft Edge Stable Enterprise

I am a consultant with a domain joined workstation with an O365 business account (MyUser@MyCompany.com). I work for MANY different customers that provide me with MyUser@TheirCompany.com O365 accounts so that I can service them. I create multiple Edge profiles, one for each email, but my domain-joined MyUser@MyCompany.com is constantly injected into various O365 logins across the various browsers/profiles. Some websites (i.e. PowerAutomate) make it almost impossible to login with the proper customer email address. It's caused various issues where my work email ends up requesting to be an external Azure user in customer tenants. This appears to be a bug to me.840Views0likes2CommentsFeature Request: Install site as an app for multiple users
I've loved the "Install this site as an App" feature since it's IE equivalent, and use it quite a bit now that apps can just be Start Menu shortcuts rather than taking up space on the taskbar. I'd love the ability to create an Edge App that isn't specific to the user account though. We are moving away from having admin tools installed on IT Staff's individual desktops, and towards publishing them through an RDSH Farm. This works well for 'classic' applications or MMC tools, but more and more tools are becoming browser-based. Whilst I have MS Edge installed on the Session Hosts, and I can publish a shortcut to launch edge to a particular address, I'd like to be able to use the fully immersive "app" experience through the Farm too.1.1KViews0likes1CommentWhy this policy is producing error? Configure new tab page URL
It's this Policy: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-policies#newtabpagelocation And based on the description, I've set it correctly on Edge 87 (the installed up-to-date policy files are also for Edge 87) But it isn't being applied and I see an error in Edge:policy why does it say the policy is blocked? what am I doing wrong?8.4KViews1like13CommentsEarly preview of Microsoft Edge group policies
Update July 22nd 2019: Hey folks, Thanks for all the great feedback! We announced last week that Edge is now ready for Enterprise evaluations. You can find the latest ADMX files and MSIs/PKGs here: https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/enterprise And you can find all the enterprise-focused documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/DeployEdge There is also an Enterprise-focused section of these Insider forums which the team will be monitoring. Direct link here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Enterprise/bd-p/EdgeInsiderEnterprise Thanks again for the great feedback and engagement. Looking forward to continuing to hear from all of you! (Note: I have removed the ADMX zip file which was originally attached to this mail. Please see the latest versions at the links above) Original post follows: Hi everyone, We've been asked fairly regularly what policies we intend to support. We're still working on the list, but I’d like to share an early preview of the management policies we are working on for the new version of Microsoft Edge. You can find a zip file attached to this post, that includes the ADMX file, an English (US) version of the ADML file, and an English (US) HTML doc with the list of policies and descriptions. Please note that not all of the associated policies have been implemented by current canary or dev builds! Please send us feedback on the list, or the description text in the policies if something seems unclear. IMPORTANT This is a work in progress. We are sharing this early draft with you for your feedback, but the list will change between now and our final release, with policies being added, removed or changed based on feedback. The HTML file includes both Mac and Windows policies. Policies for managing updates aren’t included; those will be in a separate administrative template file. These are only in English (US). We are working to localize the policy descriptions and documentation before our final release. Please let us know if there are policies missing from the list, and give us feedback on the policy design. Thanks for your interest! Hi, On "Microsoft Edge - Default Settings (users can override)" -template we set following settings enabled: Sites to open when the browser starts --> URL of our Intranet Action to take up on startup --> "Open a list of URLs" So our Intranet-page should start when starting Edge, however, Bing will start and user has not set this page. We use Edge stable 79.0.309.71. Any idea is that a bug or what?1.2KViews0likes2CommentsMicrosoft will NOT be pushing out the new Edge via Windows Update to everyone
So previously there was this post from this source saying Microsoft will be pushing out the new Edge via Windows Update to the majority of Windows 10 users, but the documentation on Microsoft's website has changed now, here are the newly added information: Update 01/09/2020 To help our customers become more secure and up-to-date, Microsoft will distribute Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) to Home and Pro Edition devices running Windows 10 version 1803 via Windows Update. This process will start after January 15th, 2020 and more information will be available on that date. The Blocker Toolkit is intended for organizations that would like to block automatic delivery of Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) on devices running Windows 10 version 1803 and newer that are running the Home or Pro Edition of Windows. All other versions and Editions of Windows are excluded from being updated automatically. Devices running Windows 10 Home or Pro Edition that are joined to an Active Directory or Azure Active Directory domain, are MDM managed, or are WSUS or WUfB managed, will also be excluded from this automatic update." No enterprise versions of Windows will be automatically updated, meaning the Blocker Toolkit is just needed if you run Home and Pro on your enterprise network, and if they are not joined to a Domain. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-blocker-toolkit4.9KViews2likes6Comments"SmartScreenPuaEnabled" Reporting 'Error' on 'Policy Status' of "Unknown Policy"
